This adorable dog has his own Tinder account
Tinder is a weird place. Originally intended to be a sort of quick-fire dating site, the app has devolved into a strange world of recycled pick-up lines and horny teenagers looking for a Netflix and chill type of deal. And, after you've been on it for a while, everybody starts to look the same.
But amongst the seemingly endless stream of manbun-sporting college jocks and just-got-back-from-my-gap-year girls, there are a few parody accounts. One such account comes from Phil, an Alaskan Malamute with a winning smile and warm heart:
Judging by his messages, Phil is somewhat of a Tinder expert. He's worked out that nobody is really there for anything with too much commitment:
He's got the whole self-confidence thing down:
And he knows the importance of a well-timed gif response:
And of course, one of the beauties of Tinder is there is no obligation to be romantic. Sometimes you end up having a more platonic conversation with somebody based on similar interests. And who isn't interested in dogs?
But, you know, sometimes people know exactly what they want, and there's no way around it. Even then, however, Phil knows how to work his charm:
So far, he's proven himself to be more polite and articulate than most humans. But, at the end of the day, he is still a four-legged furball:
I don't know about you, but personally I'd be thrilled to match with Phil. We share a lot of the same interests: long walks, food, naps - and I'm sure he'd be able to hook me up with a lot of other cute canines. Who would've thought that the perfect man would turn out to be a dog?
