When you visit Florida, you expect to see Florida men doing all kinds of crazy stuff, and alligators. However, Georgia resident George Jacobs spotted one of the creatures in a very unusual setting: lounging on a brightly colored alligator shaped pool float.

Jacobs and his family were visiting South Miami for a wedding, and first spotted the gator in the lake by their vacation rental. The reptile appeared to be taunting their dog, Rascal, who was running around their screened-in pool deck, barking up a storm. The next day, he witnessed the alligator jump into the pool, and climb on the float.

"My daughter, who’s 14, was like, 'Dad, this is soooo meta,'" Jacobs told the Miami New Times. "I guess it's not that unusual, but it was unusual to me," Jacobs says. "We have gators in Georgia, but they're just in areas that are not as populated, like some swamp where no one lives. But in Florida, they're just in your neighborhoods."

Jacobs contacted the owner of his Airbnb, who called someone from wildlife management to take the reptile away. The alligator wrangler successfully remove the creature out of the pool, and mentioned that is mating season for gators so he's been pretty busy. (Was the gator trying to mate with the alligator-shaped float, one wonders?)

This is the heart-stopping moment a family found an alligator in their garden pool:

Well, this will certainly make for an interesting Airbnb review. Only in Florida!
