Okay everyone, it's time to book flights to California, because they've got something incredible going on. No, it's not the star-studded Los Angeles, the warm weather or the gorgeous beaches - it's the Corgis.

For the fifth year in a row, over a thousand dogs took to the north side of Ocean Beach for another edition of Corgi Con. The seaside convention involves a hell of a lot of Corgis, all ready to kill you with cuteness and providing patrons with limitless meme potential.

"Corgis look really funny, but corgis don't know they look really funny," Corgi owner Alaina Roberts told the San Francisco Chronicle, summing up why we love them so much.

The convention brings dogs and their human companions together to take part in a variety of activities, including races, group photos, a costume contest, and even a Corgi 'Ninja Warrior' competition.

As you can imagine, Instagram has become overloaded with the adorable pooches since the event took place on Saturday.

The event has become so popular that other US cities have started to get in on the fun. The Corpus Christi Caller Times reported that this year the Texas city had their own event on June 15, inspired by the California Corgi con.

According to Hoodline, the event takes place twice a year - both in June and October - so there's still time to catch one before the end of 2019. Hopefully this miraculous day makes its way across the ocean and we can celebrate Corgis world-wide in the near future.
