Like many celebrities, J-Lo has a personal trainer - actually, two personal trailers. If you can afford that, then go for it. But you don't need a trainer to exercise. Just remember to hydrate. "Drinking plenty of water, especially before a workout, can help you push harder and get more out of your exercise routine," says Jennifer.

You don't look like Jenny From The Block eating chocolate chip cookies, bacon-wrapped hot dogs and raw sticks of butter. In an interview with US Weekly, she revealed her unprocessed diet: "We eat a lot of green vegetables, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, broccoli and kale. I love to cook, I cook a lot of stuff, I love cooking Puerto Rican food because that's what I grew up on." The only beef in Jennifer Lopez' life is with Mariah Carey.

She adds that if you get cravings, just stock up on protein. "Protein is my go-to whenever I start having cravings," says Jennifer. "It fills me up and keeps me full longer. It's a great muscle fuel."

If you want healthy, glowing skin, then you've got to take care of it. Avoid the sun, just like J-Lo avoids Ben Affleck. Sure, you want to get that perfect tan, but extended exposure to UV rays causes premature aging, destroying collagen and elastic fibers. "I am a firm believer in SPF," said Jennifer. "I try not to stay out in the sun too long."

Also, it's important to cleanse your skin. Don't fall asleep in your make-up - even if you're totally wasted - and remember to wash your face after working out. "That helps keep my pores clean and my skin feeling healthy," says Jennifer. She also swears by two products: Dr Hauschka's Rose Day Cream (the moisturizer), and glycolic acid skincare, which exfoliates the skin by dissolving dead skin cells.

There are three things Jennifer doesn't touch: alcohol, coffee and cigarettes. While these vices are tempting, overindulging will age you quickly. (I think we all know a smoker who looks way older than they should.) "I don't drink, smoke, or have caffeine," says Jennifer. That really wrecks your skin as you get older." It feels like there aren't enough hours in the day, so it can be tempting to cut your sleeping time short. But don't do it. The more you doze, the better you'll feel, aand look. "Always get enough sleep," Jennifer told In Style. "I can’t stress this enough. "Ideally I would love to get nine or 10 hours of sleep, but either way, I always make sure I get at least eight." Although it's tempting to stay up all night binge-watching a TV show, try binge-watching your dreams.

Everyone's busy, so it might seem like a waste of time to sit down and do nothing. But meditation has a lot of benefit. It reduces stress, improves concentration, increases happiness and some studies say it changes brain physiology to slow aging.

In 2015, Jennifer was feeling stressed out about her multiple careers, so she started meditating. Now she does it for 20 minutes every morning, and 20 minutes every night. So, give it a try. You probably spend more time than that reading Facebook or Reddit every day.
