In this world of online dating, it can be hard to know how you can get ahead and make a name for yourself on apps such as Tinder and Bumble. Given that you only get a few words and photos to make an impression on someone, it's key that you play it smart. Dad jokes are a bad idea, as are too many group photos. However, you would think that being a family member of one of the key characters in The Office might help.

This was exactly the case for one young man called James, who actually turned out to be the nephew of Angela Kinsey (AKA Angela from The Office).

Trying to up his Tinder game, James used his aunt to score cool points on his dating profile, writing: "Life long musician, can get along with just about anyone. Also a former firefighter. You can still call me a fireman cause I turn the hoes on and yes Angela from the office is my aunt."

After James' profile was found and went viral on Twitter, Kinsey seemed to confirm the relationship on her Instagram story. But, rather than be proud of her nephew, Angela went full Angela and issued a sarcastic warning to her nephews.

"Nephews...do not put me in your @tinder profile photos. K. Thx. Byeeeee."

Thankfully, Twitter user @dunflower found both images and put them in a tweet that swiftly blew up.

For most people, it was great to have Angela back in our lives after so many years apart. While it may be hard to operate the actress from the character - especially when she is being 'Peak Angela' to her nephews - the actress claims she is completely different to the woman that she portrays.

In an interview with Us Weekly about her time on the NBC series, Kinsey said: "Most people [who recognize her for the role] expect me to be a b*tch, but it’s usually the opposite. I talk people’s ears off and I actually turn them off because I talk too much.”

Understandably, Kinsey remains hugely popular due to her part in arguably the greatest sitcom of all time. And, as an Office reunion draws ever-closer, she opened up about what it was like to shoot the final scene and, boy, prepare to get emotional.

"Our very final scene was the whole cast. Greg wanted us to all be together, which was really special and so amazing that we got to have that.

"It was Saturday night at nine o’clock at night. We knew all day this scene was coming and now we were finally in it. It’s our final scene ever. We were emotional going into it and we all had to focus to get through the scene. And you could just feel that energy in the air.

"They yelled 'cut, cut,' and Greg Daniels said 'That’s a series wrap on the cast of The Office.' We all just disintegrated. We all began to cry and hug each other and hug the crew – these people that we’ve been together for nine years.

"It was a really special moment, and I’m glad we got to do it together like that."

I'm not crying, I promise.

Angela, keep being Angela - even if it means putting your nephew on blast for name-dropping you.
