It's fair to say that Chrissy Teigen is well known as the queen of Instagram for good reason: she's always amusing us to no end with her family's antics and exploits. Over the years, she's made light of everything from her Grammy-award winning husband,  the singer John Legend, to president Donald Trump himself. All this has managed to earn Chrissy a pretty devoted fanbase over time, and she can now boast over 21 million Instagram followers. Pretty impressive huh?

However, there's one person out there who's a bigger fan of Chrissy Teigen than any poor chump on the internet, and what's more it that this dude actually has every right to be Chrissy obsessed. Who is he you ask? Why he's none other than Chrissy Teigen's devoted father, Ron Teigen Sr. This week Chrissy celebrated her birthday with her family and close friends, but it put her father in a bit of a bind. After all, what on earth do you get the woman who has everything for Christmas? A new car? She has loads. Diamonds? Yawn. A gift card? Forget it.

However, Chrissy's dad managed to hit on an absolutely genius idea, one that would give him the opportunity to celebrate everything he loved about his little girl in a permanent, touching fashion. On Monday afternoon, the lovely Chrissy took to social media, to announce to her followers that her father Ron had gotten a rather large tattoo of her face on his upper arm. She was clearly very enthusiastic about the new inking, captioning the picture of her dad by writing in all-caps: "MY DAD GOT A TATTOO OF ME FOR MY BIRTHDAY. By the incredible @markmahoney_ssc. [sic]"

Her fans were quick to express their appreciation of her dad's gesture. One person wrote: "That’s sweet of your dad! But for me, I definitely would not want my face tattooed on my dad ? [sic]" while other person added: "Wow, how much of an ultimate compliment to his little girl. Blessed, loved, proud. [sic]"

In a recent interview with British tabloid newspaper The Daily Mail, Chrissy opened up about her relationship with her dad, explaining why her mom lives with her and her dad lives a few minutes away, even though the two of them are still happily married, stating: "He comes by every day and they’re married. It just works for them. It’s a good family life. We’re all very close, very tight-knit."

Recently, Chrissy has been sharing pictures of her little baby boy Miles, who had been required to wear a special helmet lately, to correct the slightly-deformed shape of his skull. It's good to see that Chrissy's family life is looking so rosy these days, and that everything is working out for her. However, that said, I think that if my dad announced that he was planning on getting my sister's face inked on his arm, my family would assume he was going through some kind of mid-life crisis.
