It's been 15 years since Rachel Green and Monica Geller took their final bow - but just because Friends came to a close, it doesn't mean the friendships between the stars ended too.
Still today, Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston remain the best of friends. So, it makes sense that Courteney took to social media this week to post an adorable birthday tribute to Jen on her 50th.
The Cougar Town actress warmed Friends fans' hearts on Tuesday when she posted an image of them together on her Instagram page. The caption read: "The world definitely got brighter the day this girl was born. Happy birthday sweetheart! I Love you! ♥️"
The 54-year-old's followers adored the upload, with many taking to the comment section to express their joy. "I love you both and i love your friendship and I hope it last forever [sic]," wrote one person, while another added: "OH MY GOD (JANICE VOICE)!!! I love you both so much! [sic]"
Courteney certainly wasn't the only famous face to post a loving tribute to Jen. Celebrities including Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow also took to social media to share the love.
Reese - who guest-starred on Friends as Rachel's sister Jill back in the day - named the 50-year-old her "work sister", writing: "Happy Birthday to my work sister #JenniferAniston !! ?? Wishing you a day filled with lots of love and laughter ! ? #HBD".
As for Kate, she uploaded an adorable video of her, Jen and Gwyneth Paltrow at the party.
The Meet The Millers actress also wasn't short of A-listers at her bash at the weekend, with dozens of celebrities turning up to the event. including Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Amal Clooney, Ellen Degeneres, Robert Downey Jr. and Demi Moore.
One familiar face who caused quite the stir was Jen's ex-husband Brad Pitt, who was pictured sneaking into the event. So, what exactly was going on?
A source allegedly told British newspaper The Sun that the pair have actually been friends for a while now and have come a long way since their divorce in 2005.
"Brad and Jen have stayed friends for a long time, but it was awkward for them to meet up when he was with Angelina and because no-one saw them together, people assumed they weren’t friends," the source said. "They are. They want everyone – all of their A-list mates and their exes – to know they’re on good terms and friendly."

They continued: "Brad coming along to a huge event like that was a public move, but he doesn’t care what people think – he and Jen are friends, they support each other and their relationship has come a long way since their divorce, and even since his split from Angelina."
All in all, it seems like Jen had a pretty good birthday - not to mention, she doesn't look a day over 30!
