Courteney Cox shares video of teen daughter performing with Snow Patrol and fans are in awe

Courteney Cox is still fairly new to Instagram, having joined after a little bit of convincing from Ellen Degeneres back in January, but her content is already proving itself to be up there with Hollywood's Instagram veterans.

And yesterday's upload was no different. The Friends star posted a very sweet video featuring a duet between Snow Patrol's lead singer Gary Lightbody and none other than her own daughter Coco Arquette.

This is the adorable moment Courteney Cox's daughter shares a stage with Gary Lightbody to sing 'Chasing Cars':

"I have overwhelming gratitude towards @garysnowpatrol for sharing his time to perform at @chords2cure," Cox wrote in the caption. "I just love watching Coco and Gary sing together."

The response to Coco's vocals from Cox's followers was overwhelmingly positive.

"Aww this is amazing!" Instagram user Angela Mcdonald wrote. "They sound great together! I wanna see it all!"

"Brilliant, this song always gives me goosebumps... love it. Your daughter was fantastic too," Karen Jeffrey agreed.

"What a beautiful voice, rich tone, and authenticity," Pammelah Joy chimed in. "They sound nice together too."

Chords 2 Cure, who describe themselves as a "Music driven Non-Profit benefiting pediatric cancer research", also shared a photo of Lightbody and Coco on stage with several other young performers.

"Crushed it!" the organisation wrote in the caption. "Thank you to Gary from Snow Patrol for rocking out with these amazing teens... helping to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer research."

14-year-old Coco is Cox's only child with actor David Arquette who she was married to from 1999 to 2013. The pair separated in 2010 and the 54-year-old actress started dating Jonny McDaid - who just so happens to be Snow Patrol's drummer - in late 2013.

Less than a year later, in June 2014, Cox announced their engagement on Twitter.

Since Cougar Town ended in 2015, Cox has been laying low in terms of her film and television roles and has instead been trying her hand at producing. She is currently focusing on her role as executive producer of Celebrity Name Game and the new Facebook Watch series, 9 Months with Courteney Cox.

Earlier this month, Cox used her Instagram to treat Friends fans to a hilarious video in which she recreated the iconic "Pivot" scene from season five's episode, 'The One With The Cop':
