Aileen Pizarro and her 12-year-old daughter, Aryana, were tragically killed last week in a car crash. Trevor Heitman, an 18-year-old YouTuber best known by his username OG McSkillet, is reported to have driven his McLaren 650S into oncoming traffic at 100 mph. Heitman was also killed in the collision.

Eight cars were involved in total on the I-805 HOV in San Diego, California last Thursday, local police stated. Mrs. Pirzarro was a marriage and family counsellor, while Aryana was due to start seventh grade on Monday, the San Diego Union Tribune reported. Aileen's son, Angelo, heartbroken by the incident, later turned to Dwayne Johnson for a message of support, given that his mother was a huge fan of the actor.

He put out a tweet calling for Johnson to respond with a video message in his DMs, so that he could play it at his mother's funeral. "My beautiful mom who passed away loved @TheRock so so SO much," he wrote. "I’m trying to get him to do even a video saying her name for the funeral".

Angelo later thanked those that retweeted and liked his tweet, helping it get a bigger reach. "My mom and sister both passed away on Thursday in a horrific car crash and even if Mr. Johnson can’t be reached the outpouring of love means the world thank you all so much again," he said.

Fortunately, Johnson came through, and recorded this message for the grieving son:

After receiving the message, an elated Angelo responded with "THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR. I hope everyone knows how amazing you are. I can’t stop smiling knowing she’s smiling so much. Just, thank you. And again thank you to every single person who viewed my post (now over a million)."

The Rock later added it was the least he could do. In the midst of this tragedy, it's fantastic that Johnson helped inspire some joy in the grieving family. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.

If you want to help Angelo and his family out, they have recently started a GoFundMe you can contribute to.
