Eva Evans, a beloved TikTok influencer, has tragically passed away at the age of 29.
Eva's sister, Lila, took to Instagram on Sunday (April 21) to share the heartbreaking news.
"Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died," Lila wrote in an emotional post accompanied by a photo of Eva laughing joyfully. "After 24 hours, I still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be."
No cause of death has been reported at this time.
With over 330,000 followers on TikTok (@itsevaevans), Evans was a rising star in the digital landscape, captivating audiences with her unique perspective on life as a 20-something woman living in New York City.
Known for her witty content and relatable humor, Eva's videos resonated deeply with viewers, earning her a devoted fanbase.
Evans was also the creator of Club Rat - a series that chronicled the adventures of an influencer navigating the chaotic world of NYC dating after a viral breakup video. Club Rat is currently available for streaming on Prime Video.
Tributes poured in from fellow creators and fans alike, with TikTok star Julia Fox expressing her grief in a heartfelt video tribute. "She was a TikTok star and a New York icon. I always saw her like a little sister and I knew she looked up to me," Fox tearfully recalled. "She was so young. Still had so much to do in life. But she lived life to the fullest."
Eva's final video was posted just four days ago, and saw her defend young celeb JoJo Siwa amid the singer's recent style transformation.
The video has since been flooded with tributes from fans in the comments section.
"I’m in shock right now, Eva you were an icon. RIP you will be missed so dearly," one fan wrote.
A second added: "Rest in peace Eva. You’re a beautiful soul forever and always!"
Her passing marks another loss for the TikTok community, coming just days after the death of Kyle Marisa Roth, another beloved creator known for her Hollywood gossip videos.
