We're allowed to criticize the Kardashians. For example, one could call Kim Kardashian a preening  narcissist whose Photoshop skills are more cringeworthy than her husband's political opinions. And one could call their reality show a vacuous, contrived bore that makes viewers more materialistic and cold-hearted. I mean, I would say never such disrespectful things. I'm just saying, one could, and that would be totally fine. However, making racist comments about babies? That crosses the line. I know that's a scorching hot take. Make sure you apply Aloe Vera before reading the rest of this article.

Recently Kim shared an adorable of photo of the three babies: Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's daughter, Stormi; Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's daughter, True; and Kim and Kanye West's daughter, Chicago. It's a cute picture, appropriately captioned "the triplets," since they were all born within months of each other. It's an image so heartwarming it could make The Grinch's heart grow three sizes, and persuade Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly to sign a peace treaty.

The photo received over seven million likes, and thousands of positive comments. However, this being the internet, trolls posted racist remarks attacking True Thompson for her skin color. That's right, True's only five months old and is already learning about colorism, discrimination against individuals with a darker skin tone.

@deweesey23 commented," I hate that True is so dark, the other two are a nice mix… she’s a cute kid, just too dark.” @mamii0_ commented, "Not being mean but True isn't cute at all!" And @dorianfiasco trumpeted the tinfoil hat conspiracy theory that O.J. Simpson is Khloé Kardashian's real father, which explains her daughter's darker skin tone. To quote my favorite song on Yeezy's last album: "Yikes."

Of course, Kar-Jenner fans had the babies' backs, and slammed the disgusting comments. @LAurel53126095 wrote, "So sorry you have to see the nasty comments people are posting about your beautiful little angel." @Reynolds_El wrote, "Your life really is pathetic if you go online to hate, especially a little baby." "For those of you who still don’t believe colorism is a thing, do me a favor and go read all the idiotic comments under the picture of Chicago West, Stormi Webster, and True Thompson," wrote @LamarLamerLemar. "People in the year of 2018 are calling a less than year old baby “Ugly” because she is too Dark."

Racist comments on the internet are nothing new, but they're still disappointing. Why are comment sections always negative? Let's have some positivity about the Kardashians. One could call them loving mothers, and brilliant businesswomen, who cleverly spun reality-show fame into a billion dollar business empire. I mean, I would never say such a respectful thing. I'm just saying, one could, and that would be totally fine. The Kardashians - you can love 'em, you can hate 'em, just don't make racist comments about their babies.
