It's been a long time since Hilary Duff stepped into the shoes of Lizzy McGuire, but that doesn't mean that fans of the hit teen show aren't still just a little obsessed with it.

Aside from the two-season show, there was a full movie released in 2003, too. Seeing Lizzie and her classmates going on a school trip to Rome, the movie did pretty well for itself - with some songs that will bring back some serious nostalgia for fans.

Here's the movie's 'What Dreams Are Made Of':

HEY HEY HEY HEY.

Aside from sending you guys back to the year where we were blessed with Kangaroo Jack, Spy Kids 3D and Freddy vs. Jason, there's a reason I included that particular clip. Trisha Paytas recently posted her cover of the 2003 song, and it's spawned a lot of memes.

The Californian YouTuber has been working as a recording artist over the last few years, with a cover album, and a variety of EPs released since 2014. She also covered Hilary's classic song.

That's right, she even replicated the scene in its entirety. But, as the internet often does, this soon led to memes, some dirtier than others... And that's where the Instagram account, 'Drinks For Gayz' came in, showing a clip from the song along with the caption 'When he eats your ass for eight minutes straight'.

The funniest thing about it was that soon enough Hilary Duff herself weighed in on the joke. "Oooof yikes," she commented on the Instagram post, saying what we were all thinking.

The mere fact that she saw the joke at all was a little too much for some people.

So if you ever decide to post a NSFW meme like this out there - know that the person it's about (celebrity or otherwise) can stumble across it as easily as anyone else...
