When it comes to trolling people online, J.K. Rowling is the woman we all turn to in times of need. The Harry Potter author is somewhat of a wizard when it comes to putting people in their place, something that has been seen time and time again, with the 53-year-old targeting everyone from the Westboro Baptist Church, to Rupert Murdoch, to just about anyone who expresses discriminatory (or just plain idiotic) views online.

But Rowling saves her best putdowns for one person in particular: her sworn enemy, President Donald Trump. By this time, the writer is infamous for tearing into the 45th and current President of the United States on social media - and her most recent tweet didn't disappoint.

Rowling struck back after the former reality TV star posted a torrent of angry tweets on Sunday, claiming that "some members of the media" had expressed frustration with the New York Times' coverage of White House counsel Don McGahn's cooperation with special counsel Robert Mueller's federal Russia investigation.

"Some members of the media are very Angry at the Fake Story in the New York Times," he wrote "They actually called to complain and apologize - a big step forward. From the day I announced, the Times has been Fake News, and with their disgusting new Board Member, it will only get worse!"

However, the Harry Potter author wasn't happy with his post, taking to Twitter to mock him mercilessly. In a parody of America's leader's own tweets - making multiple spelling and grammar mistakes - she wrote in a savage tweet:  "I do'nt care what Kids at School call me because they are all Disgusting Fake Losers and my Real Friends go to a diffrent Scool you haven't heard of and they think Im the Coolest and Smartest and we go to parties and I don't have to tell you there Names for this to be True. [sic]"

For the most part, her followers absolutely loved her post, with one Twitter user going by the username of @superlman expressing agreement by writing: "I’m telling on you. The dog ate my homework. She started it. You’re a dummy. That’s the level of discourse from Donald J Trump."

Another social media user called @SassyMsViolet also concurred, writing "It's so true...he acts like a middle school mean boy! #PettyDonnie", as well as @maya_givens who put "How hilarious would it be if she changed her Twitter name to JK Trolling??"

However, others weren't so happy with @LouiseBagshawe replying saying: "this makes me sad and feel sorry for him, like a kid getting bullied". She wasn't the only person who believed Rowling was being harsh on Trump, with other supporters of the Republican leader putting their two cents in. Twitter user @AdianNov89 attacked Rowling by writing: "Due to her writing career being dead, @jk_rowling continues to attack President Trump to keep herself relevant."
It's fair enough to have an opinion guys, but I wouldn't be so fast to attack Rowling - you never know who she's going to come for next...
