In the comedic realm of roasts, Jeff Ross is known as the "Roastmaster General" for a reason.

The sharp-tongued 58-year-old comedian can have any celeb squirming in their seat, as we saw during The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady.

However, one viral moment that got viewers talking was when Brady actually left his chair to confront Ross over a particular joke aimed at New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Now, Ross has shed some light on that awkward moment and shared his thoughts about why he believes Brady felt the need to say something.

During the Netflix comedy special, Ross took aim at Kraft with a playful jab, in which he recounted a fictional scenario of a rookie Brady storming into the Patriots CEO's office after being picked 199th overall in the NFL Draft.

Ross recalled how a young Brady told Kraft: “I’m the best decision your organization has ever made.”

However, after the audience had erupted into applause, Ross then delivered the punchline: “Would you like a massage?”

The joke alluded to an incident in 2019 when Kraft faced allegations of soliciting prostitution at a massage parlor in Florida.

Despite the crowd bursting into laughter, the moment took a surprising turn when Brady rose from his seat and delivered a stern message to Ross: "Don't say that sh** again." The unexpected reaction sparked curiosity and conversation about Brady's response.

Now, Brady did have a smile on his face as he said this, so he most likely saw the funny side, but wanted Ross to know that Kraft was off-limits.

“Robert Kraft is like a father figure to him," Ross said. "He was just showing his love for Robert Kraft."

According to Ross, Kraft appreciated the shoutout, as Ross revealed: "Robert Kraft loved it. We had a great talk afterward. He was so happy that I gave him a shoutout and a salute. It was beautiful."

Furthermore, Ross highlighted Brady's enthusiasm for roasts, describing him as a dedicated follower and participant in the comedic tradition.

The comedian revealed that he and Brady had been in talks for years before reaching an agreement to film the special following the NFL star's second retirement.
