Jennifer Lopez is 49 and looks 25. Every time she shows off rock-hard abs on social media or stuns the crowd with an energetic performance, people wonder, "How does she do it?" Everybody wants to look young, and that quest gets more quixotic with every passing year.

Well, wonder no more! In interviews, J-Lo has revealed what she does to look amazing: She exercises every morning, only eats vegetables, avoids the sun, cleanses her skin, gets plenty of sleep, meditates twice every day, and avoids unhealthy vices like alcohol, coffee and cigarettes. Basically, it's all the stuff you know you should do, but don't want to. Wooo! Let's get drunk and eat a pizza!

This month the Maid in Manhattan star graces the December issue of InStyle Magazine. Once again, she looks flawless in the photos, wearing glamorous Valentino Haute Couture gowns and a sultry, sequined emerald cape. And no, she's not wearing anything under that garment. Hey, if you looked this good, you'd show off. "I've taken care of myself and it shows," Jennifer told InStyle, and reflected on her body image while growing up: "In my family, curves were glorified and part of the culture. It was just like, Jennifer has a big butt, and it’s good.'"

The world has changed a lot since J-Lo first shot to fame, playing the murdered singer Selena in 1997. The internet was nascent, but the paparazzi was just as obsessive. When you walked into a store, you'd see Jennifer's face splattered over every tabloid - especially when she was dating Ben Affleck. From 2002 to 2004, the world was in love with Bennifer, but not so in love that they wanted to see the movie Gigli.

When asked how the tabloid era compares to the social media era, Jennifer said, "It was actually worse then. It was just crazy. Now at least I can show you who I am a little bit. Back then you just believed anything you read on the cover of a tabloid. Many times it wasn't true, or it was like a third of the truth."

Throughout her life, Jennifer has played many roles: actress, singer, dancer, reality TV judge, political activist, fashion designer, and of course, the mother of  two 10-year-old twins (with ex-husband Marc Anthony). And Jenny From The Block wears all these hats just as well as she wears sequined capes.

"I don't understand why you can't be an actress and a singer and dancer as well," said Jennifer. "Like, that's how this whole business started. Entertainment! And why can't you be funny and also be a dramatic actress? OK, some people can't do both. But if they can, let them!"

So, give it up for the immortal Jennifer Lopez. If you don't, you might get an angry backlash, like Kylie Jenner. You've been warned.
