After twelve weeks of dating, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin got married in a secret ceremony at a New York City courthouse. Reportedly they exchanged vows at the same time they obtained their marriage license. But while they're already husband and wife, they still plan to throw a traditional formal wedding ceremony. (So, don't worry Jailey Nation! You still might get to see photos of them in a beautiful wedding dress and adorable tuxedo!)

The newlyweds recently met up with Vogue for an intimate interview, plus a photoshoot with acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz. This marks Justin's first interview in two years, because all those time TMZ guys barked questions at him on the street don't count. In the lengthy feature, the 24-year-old opens up about his marriage and religious beliefs, revealing he and Hailey abstained from sex until they tied the knot.

"God doesn’t ask us not to have sex for him because he wants rules and stuff," explained Justin. "He’s like, I’m trying to protect you from hurt and pain. I think sex can cause a lot of pain. Sometimes people have sex because they don’t feel good enough. Because they lack self-worth. Women do that, and guys do that."

"I wanted to rededicate myself to God in that way because I really felt it was better for the condition of my soul," he continued. "And I believe that God blessed me with Hailey as a result. There are perks. You get rewarded for good behavior. When I saw her last June, I just forgot how much I loved her and how much I missed her and how much of a positive impact she made on my life. I was like, 'Holy cow, this is what I’ve been looking for."

The singer admitted he was "arrogant" and "super-promiscuous" in the past. He also stated that he used Xanax because he "was so ashamed." However, he's managed to turn his life around and Hailey has been a good influence. (She says she's never used drugs because genetically vulnerable to addiction, citing her father Stephen Baldwin's cocaine problem.)

"It’s just that I’m fighting to do this the right way, to build a healthy relationship," said Hailey. "I want people to know that.  We’re coming from a really genuine place. But we’re two young people who are learning as we go. I’m not going to sit here and lie and say it’s all a magical fantasy. It’s always going to be hard..."

"We’re really young, and that’s a scary aspect," she continued. "We’re going to change a lot. But we’re committed to growing together and supporting each other in those changes. That’s how I look at it. At the end of the day, too, he’s my best friend. I never get sick of him." At that point, Justin reportedly grinned, adding, "And you're my baby boo."

If you listen closely, right now you can hear Justin's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez crying. Wait. No. That's just a weird cat wailing outside my window. Congratulations, Justin and Hailey!
