On Valentine's Day, if you're in a relationship, you're expected to make a bit of effort for your other half. For most people, this might entail a card, or a small gift, or a romantic meal somewhere slightly fancier than the usual date night location. You know, just a simple gesture to let them know you care.

But Kanye West is not most people.

Yesterday, in order to show Kim Kardashian (and everyone on social media) just how much he loved her, Ye organised the most extra Valentine's Day celebration ever by inviting Kenny G to play for her in their house.

And it was... kinda weird.

Judging by her reaction on Twitter, Kim obviously loved the sentiment. Everyone else, on the other hand, was pretty confused.

Meanwhile, others were concerned for Kenny's wellbeing. Was he being held there against his will? Will he ever be allowed to leave? Does Kenny G not have anything better to do on Valentine's Day than serenade Kim K?

And then there's the question of where exactly this is taking place. Is this what Kim and Kanye's house usually looks like? If so, where the heck is all their furniture?

Besides, who is going to be responsible for tidying up all those roses when the show's over (assuming, of course, that Kenny will eventually be permitted to leave his floral maze)?

At the end of the day, as long as Kim enjoyed the sentiment (and Kenny was not harmed either physically or emotionally), this does actually seem like a pretty sweet gift. Perhaps next year, though, Ye can get his wife something more useful like - I don't know - maybe a couch? Yeah, that seems like a better option.
