The way the media talks about women's bodies has got to change. Tabloids have an unhealthy interest in the way that females - especially female celebrities - dress, style their hair, and most egregious of all, how much they weigh. Whenever a female celebrity looks like she's put on a bit of extra weight, no matter what the circumstances, you can bet that the media will go ballistic chastising them for their dietary irresponsibility.

One female celebrity who's had to put up with this kind of sexism is Khloe Kardashian. Recently, the reality TV star managed to lose some weight after giving birth to her daughter, True. However, she was annoyed to learn that many media outlets had made a number of outrageous claims about how she managed to shed the pounds. Incensed, Khloe took to Twitter to vent her frustrations with her followers.

She wrote: "I truly dislike when people report I’ve lost a tremendous amount of weight in a short amount of time or when people claim I’m doing these ridiculous diets. It’s really setting the wrong tone. I believe in making lifestyle changes when it comes to my food ... Dieting is great but dieting doesn’t typically create long lasting results. I also believe that working out is so incredibly healthy and should be done to each individuals own rhythm of life. There’s no one size fits all when health and fitness ... To you out there, don’t give up!! Everyday is a new day to find your rhythm!"

Recently the 33-year-old came clean about her intention to lose the weight she put on while pregnant with help from her personal trainer Joe Bouraima. In a post on her official blog, she wrote: "It's been so great being back in the gym with my trainer. I'm so motivated to get my body back and I'm feeling stronger every day - and getting closer to my goal. Coach Joe's already shared all the details about my first post-baby workout, and now he's back to give you guys an update about our fitness strategy. You know I like to go into things with a plan and I definitely have a lot of work ahead, but I'm pumped!"

Bouraima himself has also revealed the details of Khloe's workout routine: "Even before pregnancy, the stomach was something Khloé wanted as clean as possible. And now, it's even more an area that she wants back. But the thing is I don't target this area with lot of abs and core training. Yes, we work on it, but after a pregnancy the abs are an area to take care of and not work too intensely. Right now is more of a preparation for what we're going to do once she's back in LA. Then we can start all the serious work!"

It sounds as if she's really serious about meeting her fitness goals. You go Khloe; never mind all the haters.
