No matter which way you look at it, Jordyn Woods deciding to go on record about her cheating scandal was always going to cause quite a bit of a stir.
Sitting down with Jada Pinkett Smith on Red Table Talk on Friday, Jordyn Woods pretty much took responsibility for her actions that day, but hinted that things had been blown out of proportion ever so slightly, and initially, scorned woman Khloé Kardashian wasn't buying it.
Here's what Woods said to Jada last Friday:
"I was never blacked out. There was alcohol involved. I was drunk. I was not tipsy, I was drunk, but I was not beyond the point of recollection. I know where I was. But on the way out, he did kiss me. It's just no passion, no nothing on the way out, he just kissed me. It was like a kiss on the lips, no tongue kiss, no making out, nothing."
And in response, Khloé went off, blaming Woods for splitting her family up, and branding the 21-year-old a liar. "Why are you lying @jordynwoods ??" Khloé said.
"If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!
Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child. Regardless of what he does to me I won’t do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY. If Tristan were to lie publicly about what conspired, then yes I would address him publicly as well."
Fair to say, she's not happy. But in the intervening 24 hours, Khloé's evidently had some time to think about things, because she's taken some time to go on Twitter and absolve Jordyn Woods, who was living with Kylie Jenner at the time (but it's not clear what's happened to that friendship), of the blame for the scandal.
Khloé cleared up her previous comments, and retracted her prior statement, betraying the immense pain she must feel following the 21-year-old's action. "This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I)," she explained on Twitter, hinting that she was kind of expecting Tristan to cheat again.
"I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time. What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault."
Khloé also announced her intention to move on from the entire ordeal, saying: "I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True." Tristan Thompson's actions that day have caused a lot of pain and drama over the last two weeks or so, and with her latest comments, Khloé seems to want to close the chapter on the scandal, once and for all.
