In what has undoubtedly been a big week for the Kardashian-Jenners, Forbes announced that Kylie Jenner is on course to become the youngest self-made billionaire in history - male or female - as the publication predicts that her net worth will top $1 billion within the next year.

As the 20-year-old will turn 21 on the 10th August, she will likely hit this milestone at 21. And she's in good company too - the co-founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, previously held this record after becoming a billionaire at the age of 23.

Forbes adds that Kylie Cosmetics, which was launched just three years ago, has already amassed $630 million in sales, and as the reality television star is the sole shareholder of the company, this leaves her in a very good position indeed.

Naturally, social media was all over the news. "$900 million under HER name. Can we let go of the Kylie Jenner AINT got no talent narrative? Clearly, making money moves is it," one Twitter user wrote, while another corroborated "Kylie Jenner literally cracked the code and illustrated the blue print. She’s 20 years old and worth $900M!!!!!! She owns 100% of Kylie Cosmetics!"

A third added, "Kylie jenner’s network is fckin GOALS sis is under 21 & on her way to being a billionaire #BigGoals."

Forbes also offered a rather interesting estimation, in that Kylie's older sister, Kim Kardashian, (who for all intents and purposes made "Kardashian" a household name) is worth a mere $350 million in comparison.

Of course, the people of the internet then went on to assume that Kim was angry about the fact that her youngest sister had already eclipsed her earnings, and at the age of 20 too.

"I wonder how mad Kim Kardashian’s is now that Kylie is the richest Kardashian. Like how long before she post another nude so we can all forget about Kylie being a billionaire?" one Twitter user wrote, and another added "If I’m Kim, I’m mad as hell they calling Kylie “self-made” .. like I didnt have to buss it open for us to get here."

"It’s really bothering my inner peace that kylies richer then Kim? Like she’s not self made at all, everyone knows it’s all thanks to Kim," a third stated.
