During his time in the White House, Donald Trump has managed to earn himself a reputation as one of the most divisive presidents in US history. His stance on immigration, his attitude towards minorities, and his apparent inability to refrain from rage-tweeting every few hours are just some of the things that have seen him hit the lowest presidential approval rating in living memory - but, even so, there are still a minority of people who support him.

Indeed, amongst his own party, Trump was recorded as having an 87 per cent approval rating according to the most recent survey, and a mediocre 34 per cent amongst Independents. The vast majority of Democrats, however, disapprove of the current administration, with only a meagre eight per cent of registered party members approving of his actions as president.

But you know whose opinion is more important than party-affiliated individuals? Kim Kardashian's, of course.

Back in June of this year, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star met with the president in order to discuss prison reform. For all intents and purposes, their meeting went rather well, and resulted in one woman - 63-year-old Alice Marie Johnson - having her sentence commuted after she previously faced the prospect of a lifetime behind bars for a first-time drug offence.

At the time, Kim K didn't say much about how she felt about Trump. Her husband, on the other hand, had plenty - and caused a bit of a stir on Twitter in doing so.

"You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him," the rapper said. "We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought."

This was quickly followed by another tweet, which read: "My wife just called me and she wanted me to make this clear to everyone. I don't agree with everything Trump does. I don't agree 100% with anyone but myself."

So, after that, it was reasonably safe to assume that Kim was so-so on the president. At the very least, she didn't want people to think she wholeheartedly supported him.

As she revealed in a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, however, she's actually a little more in his favour than we may have previously thought.

After mentioning that Kanye is a supporter of Trump, Kimmel asked Kim whether or not she and her husband ever argued over politics.

"No [we don't argue]," she said, "because I always respect what another person thinks. And - to make it clear - [Kanye and I] would talk about policies, and he doesn't necessarily agree with the policies. He likes [Trump's] personality and how he made it to be president when everyone underestimated him."

She then added: "I have nothing bad to say about the president because he's done something amazing."

Really, Kim? Nothing? So you're totally fine with him separating families at the border, yeah? Or how about buddying up with Putin? Or starting trade wars? Or implementing anti-LGBTQ policies (something that Kim's parent, Caitlyn Jenner, has spoken out about)?

The reality star did add that she "doesn't agree with everything" Trump does but, on the whole, it seems as if she's more of a supporter than a critic.

Of course, she's totally entitled to her beliefs and opinions - but it does seem a little disappointing that Kim can't see the bigger picture when it comes to the president. He may have done one decent thing at her behest - for sure - but his actions have so far hurt more than they've helped.
