Kristin Davis has been praised for posting a "natural" picture of herself after having her fillers dissolved.

The star, best known for playing Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the HBO romantic comedy series Sex and the City, has been praised online after she recently posted a fresh-faced selfie.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (May 1), Davis showed off her voluminous curls as well as her glowing skin in a filler-free picture, which has received an outpouring of love from fans.

"Fresh [cut] by @rebekahforecast + NYC water = Kenya hair vibes part 2??" she wrote in the caption.

Comments poured in.

"You are so beautiful!!! Never forget that," wrote one user while another added: "We love you and your hair."

A third commended the actress for taking out her fillers.

"You look amazing. Glad you took out the fillers, your true self looks so much better," they wrote.

And this user also agreed commenting: "Wow! You are so beautiful. When I started to watch And Just Like That, my heart broke when I saw what you had done to your beautiful face. You’ve turned it around and it’s paid off, such a role model."

It comes after the Deadly Illusions star previously opened up about her appearance to The Telegraph, stating that she received a lot of hate when she got Botox.

"I have done fillers and it’s been good and I’ve done fillers and it’s been bad," she said. "I’ve had to get them dissolved and I’ve been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it.

"It’s very stressful," she added.

She also stated that it wasn't her fault if they looked bad because she "trusted" someone else to do it.

"It’s whatever. I can’t keep it up. I don’t have time," she told the outlet. "You’re trusting doctors [but] people personally blame us when it goes wrong - [as if] I jabbed a needle in my face..."

When referring to her lip fillers, she revealed that a few of her friends told her the Botox didn't really look as good as she might have thought, and that's what spurred her to re-think having it.

"No one told me it didn’t look good for the longest time," she explained. "But luckily I do have good friends who did say eventually. The thing is you don’t smile at yourself in the mirror. Who smiles at themselves in the mirror? Crazy people."

In another interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress noted that "shame" plays a role in women's relationship with being honest about fillers.

"I think part of the reason that people are not more open is because there is such shaming put on you largely by other women," Davis told ET. "It's so sad. We have enough problems as it is. We don't need to shame each other. Like, it's so much a waste of time, but it does hurt."

We're glad to see that Davis has found more confidence in her appearance because she looks absolutely radiant.
