Kylie Jenner is undoubtedly the queen of social media. Despite the fact that she pretty much took an elongated break from her accounts during her 'secret' pregnancy, The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has returned to the likes of Twitter and Instagram and is already causing a stir.

The world went into shock when Jenner, who has 104 million Instagram followers, decided to disappear for a while. Of course, we now all know the reasons behind the hiatus (little baby Stormi!), but at the time, everything seemed up in the air. There were constant rumours, hearsay and insider sources saying that the 20-year-old was pregnant, but nothing was confirmed until February 4, when Kylie released a statement on her account.

"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. my pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself i needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress-free, and healthy way i knew how. there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal i had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.

"pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I've had in my entire life and I'm actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. my beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and i just couldn't wait to share this blessing. I've never felt love and happiness like this i could burst! Thank you for understanding."

However, while Kylie has returned to 'The Gram', she has still remained quiet on Snapchat - and now we know why.

Snapchat recently released an update and everyone hates it. Such is the negative reaction, there has now been a petition online that is calling for Snapchat to go back to it's former format and it currently has 1.2 million signatures.

"With the release of the new Snapchat update, many users have found it has not made the app easier to use, but has in fact made many features more difficult. There’s a general level of annoyance among users and many have decided to use a VPN app to go back to the old Snapchat, as that’s how annoying this new update has become. Many ‘new features’ are useless or defeat the original purposes Snapchat has had for the past years. This petition aims to help convince Snap Inc. to change the app back to the basics, before this new 2018 update."

It also turns out that Kylie isn't a fan, with the star tweeting about her lack of enthusiasm about the update.

For those of you who simply cannot deal with the new update, Snapchat has provided instructions on how to revert back to the old format should you wish to do so. However, be warned, it may delete your memories!

"Before reinstalling Snapchat or logging out, make sure Memories are backed up or you could lose them Settings > Memories > Backup Progress ‘Complete’ means you’re all set. If not, tap to see which Snaps need backing up. You’ll also need your password so you can log back in!"

So Kylie Jenner, the queen of social media, hates Snapchat. Given her insane influence, I'm sure the guys over at Snapchat are pretty worried about what implications these tweets could have.
