Kylie Jenner's insane birthday gift to Travis Scott has upset quite a few people

There are few more nerve-wracking moments than thinking of a present for your significant other on their birthday, but knowing your girlfriend or boyfriend helps a lot. Are they one for surprises and expensive gifts, or do they prefer a quiet night in with a lovely thoughtful note?

We're not privy to the ins and outs of Kylie Jenner's relationship with Travis Scott, but what we can say is that the couple know each other pretty well - well, with the rapper and the businesswoman sharing a baby together in Stormi Jenner, at least you'd hope.

Did someone say Stormi? Here's Kylie sharing a sweet moment with her daughter:

With that in mind, Kylie's latest gift for Travis Scott's birthday has people a little... confused.

Travis Scott turns 28 on Tuesday April 30, and for that big day, Kylie Jenner has done the Kardashian thing of going completely over the top for birthday celebrations. Seriously. Did you forget StormiWorld? But while creating entire theme parks and huge cakes are one thing, billboards are a totally different kettle of fish.

As per TMZ, for Travis Scott's birthday, Kylie Jenner thought that a giant billboard of herself and Stormi at the Santa Monica and La Cienega intersection in West Hollywood (one of the busiest intersections in the area) would make the perfect gift. "Happy Birthday Daddy," says the billboard, and it's signed "Love, Mommy & Stormi XO".

Luckily, Kylie also gave Travis an Avengers-themed bash (complete with a private screening of Avengers: Endgame) so she didn't throw all of her eggs in the giant billboard basket. But still, opinions are split: some simply had to marvel (no pun intended) at the pure extra-ness of it, and others were pretty annoyed at Kylie's gift.

Well, either way, even if we're not exactly on board with Kylie's gift, we have hope that at least Travis likes it, right? If you ask me, though, he's probably preoccupied processing Avengers: Endgame, so I doubt he'll be too concerned about the billboard.
