Lady Gaga is perhaps the most talked about person following the 2019 Oscars ceremony.

Not only was her emotionally-charged performance of 'Shallow' from A Star Is Born one of the greatest live performances in the show's history, but her chemistry with co-star Bradley Cooper was sensational, and even had many people wondering if she had crossed a line, considering Cooper's girlfriend, Irina Shayk, was just feet away.

In addition to this, the track also won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, to which Gaga said during her acceptance speech: "There's not a single person on the planet that could have sang this song with me but [Bradley Cooper]."

But following her emotional evening, Gaga once again spoke out about what winning an Oscar truly means to her, what her aspirations are for all awards ceremonies in the future, and what Cooper told her prior to their electrifying performance.

Fresh off her victory, Lady Gaga was joined by fellow 'Shallow' co-writers, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wyatt at a post-Oscars press conference.

Responding to a question from news.com.au regarding her fans in the LGBTQI community, Gaga not only revealed what Bradley Cooper said to her following their final rehearsal for the show.

"That’s actually what Bradley said to me yesterday right before we did our last rehearsal for this performance of 'Shallow'," she continued. "He said, ‘Let’s just drop a little bit of joy.’ And I said, ‘Okay’. And turns out, joy did a whole lot for me."

Lady Gaga then went on to explain her vision for the future of award ceremonies as a whole:

“What I would like to say is: one of the hardest things in life is to be brave enough to be yourself,” Gaga said, before revealing that her "true dream" for the Oscars is for it to one day for non-gender specific:

"I have a true dream in our future as we evolve as humanity that these award shows will not be male and female but that we include everyone."
