The Internet's been obsessed with Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande. The lanky SNL comic and petite pop singer started dating last May. In June, they got engaged. That's right - they move fast! The couple constantly flirts on social media, posting the thirstiest comments and the dirtiest Harry Potter references. They even got tattoos to honor each other, so you know it's a serious relationship.

We've been swept up with Pete and Ariana's #couplesgoals, but what about Mac Miller? The rapper met Ariana on social media, asking if they could collaborate on a song. After recording a couple tracks together, sparks flew, and not just from Mac Miller's blunt. The paparazzi snapped photos of them kissing, prompting them to go public with their relationship. After the tragic attack at Ariana's concert in Manchester, in which a suicide bomber killed 22 people, Mac provided emotional support.

The pair dated for two years, and officially split up in May. Soon after, reports broke about Ariana dating Pete, and Mac smashed his G-Wagon into a utility pole. When police officers arrived at his house, he confessed to driving drunk and fleeing the scene. On Twitter, someone said that Ariana dumping Mac for another dude was "the most heartbreaking thing in Hollywood." In an impassioned post, Ariana wrote back, opening up about their 'toxic relationship.

"I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be. I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming/blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his shit together is a very major problem. Let’s please stop doing that. Of course I didn’t share about how hard or scary it was while it was happening, but it was. I will continue to pray from the bottom of my heart that he figures it all out and that any other woman in this position does as well."

On Instagram stories, Ariana wrote that she was grateful for her time with Mac, and wishes him the best.

"Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet Malcolm McCormick [Mac Miller's real name]. I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!"

Now Mac is about to his release his fifth studio album, Swimming, which features the single Self-Care. (Appropriate title.) During an interview on Beats 1 on Apple Music, he commented on his ex-girlfriend's engagement for the first time. But there's no drama  - he's "happy for her."

"I was in love with somebody. We were together for two years. We worked through good times, bad times, stress and everything else. And then it came to an end and we both moved on. And it’s that simple ... It’s all positive energy. I am happy for her and [the fact that she’s] moving forward with her life, just as I’m sure she is with me."

Well, that's a pretty sweet message. Good to see Mac's in a better place.
