Machine Gun Kelly had some words to say about Taylor Swift, - and let's just say Swifites can't stop talking about his remarks online.

Now, we know the 34-year-old has one of the most loyal fanbases in the entire world. Swifites turn up in their numbers to defend their idol no matter who they're up against.

For example, take Kim Kardashian and her feud with the star.

The SKIMS director is currently experiencing a barrage of comments referring to her as "Aimee" thanks to a song on Swift's latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

If you've not heard it yet, then I'd highly suggest listening to the track 'thanK you, aIMee' because... big yikes.

Anyway, it seems as though Machine Gun Kelly, who simply goes by MGK now, is not ready to go up against that.

On the latest episode of Hot Ones with rapper Trippie Redd, where celebrities answer questions and eat hot chicken wings , he opted to dodge a question that prompted him to say "mean things" about the 'Shake It Off' singer.

While playing a game of Truth or Wing, which plays on the same premise as Truth or Dare, mgk was asked to say "three mean things" about Swift after Redd brought up the fact that the 34-year-old once offered Travis Kelce $1 million if he changed allegiance and joined the Cleveland Browns.

He took one long look into the camera before saying: "Ladies and gentlemen, you have got to be out of your motherf****** mind if you think I want any smoke with that fanbase.

"Also, Taylor is a saint and very nice to me and Travis is my bro," he added.

Elsewhere he also doubled down on his opinion, stating that he couldn't say a bad word because Swift was "nice," before deciding to take the wing forfeit.

With a mouthful of chicken Kelly began singing the chorus of one of Swift's most popular hits 'I knew you were trouble’ just to prove he was definitely a Swiftie.

And of course, fans praised the star for doing so.

"MGK knows what's up, poking the Swiftie hive is like stepping on a landmine in a flower field. Dude's just tryna stay on everyone's good side, can't blame him lol," wrote one user, while another added: "lmao wise move."

A third called it a "wise dodge" and this user stated that both stars were "lovely."

What lesson have we learned from this? That's right, choose to be an MGK in a world full of Kim Kardashians.
