While we are quick to remember those who win an Oscar, we are less likely to remember the losers. Sadly, Margot Robbie falls into the latter category. While Robbie is undoubtedly successful in her own right, Sunday wasn't the night for her, with the 27-year-old losing out to Frances McDormand in the Best Actress category.

Robbie had attended the ceremony on Sunday night with her mother. She was nominated for the Best Actress award due to her role in the film "I, Tonya" and admitted that she felt a little nervous about the occasion, with it being the first Oscar nomination in her career. The actress also added that the pressures of both starring in and producing the film had been a culture shock for her:

"It's incredible [to act and produce a movie] and when you're producing, if it had gone badly, it would've been my fault."

It's previously been noted that Robbie tends to carry a quartz stone with her for good luck, but she admitted to leaving it at home and hoped that her mother would provide her with the fortune required instead. However, despite her seemingly having the ability to look 20 years younger than she actually is, Margot's mother wasn't her good luck charm in the slightest. Not only did the actress lose out on an award, but she also suffered a wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet.

Sporting a custom-made white dress from Chanel, Margot suffered the indignity of one of the straps breaking while she walked the red carpet.  Undeterred by the incident, Robbie fetched a sewing kit and stitched the dress up by hand before undergoing a wardrobe change for the after party.

Even though she had lost out on an award, judging by her brother's Instagram account, it looks like Margot couldn't turn to her family for help.

Cameron, Margot's brother, was watching the show and seemed to be enjoying himself before things began to get a little bit tense.

However, rather than console his sister when it was announced that Margot had lost out on the award, Cameron decided to pull the ultimate sibling reaction and trolled his sister.

I mean, "I'm still mums favourite" is the classic petty sibling response.

But, just in case you thought he was being a bit too mean, Cameron then uploaded another Story in which he told Margot that he was super proud of her.

No doubt Margot will find the time to troll her brother back, but for now, she's busy reveling in her fame and success, which has seen her become one of the leading lights in an often sexist and patriarchal industry. When asked if it's important to see more female leads on the big screen, Robbie said:

"Of course, seeing female protagonists who are strong in some ways and extremely floored in many ways is a more accurate portrayal of women in real life."

Credit to Margot for continuing to break barriers in Hollywood and to Cameron for reminding his sister that, no matter how famous you get, your siblings will continue to troll you.
