Meet the man who documented Kylie Jenner's entire pregnancy for that YouTube video
We've all spent months and months (it feels like years) debating whether or not Kylie Jenner was pregnant or not. At times it felt like it was just the regular rumor mill that celebrities like the Kardashians and Jenners often go through, but over time the theories started to sound more and more like the real deal. By time we hit 2018, the amount Kylie had supposedly gone through to hide her baby bump and generally keep out of the public eye made it pretty clear.
Despite all this anticipation, many of her fans were shocked when she made the announcement on Sunday. It turns out that she was pregnant in the end, and gave birth to a baby girl on February 1. She announced this all in an Instagram post, in which she said:
"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. my pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself i needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way i knew how. there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal i had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.
In another Instagram post, she posted a little snippet of a longer video that documented her pregnancy journey. In this post, she wrote: "Thank you @wttyler for putting this together. here's a little glimpse of the last 9 months. the link is in my bio".
The man who goes by that Instagram account, referred to as 'White Trash Tyler', has a story of his own.
The man who filmed the secret pregnancy video was not only a close friend of Kylie and her boyfriend Travis Scott, but a successful videographer in the industry. He has worked with Kanye West, Drake and Scott before now, but things weren't always so easy.
In an interview with Complex last summer, Ross revealed that his career really started in 2013 when he made the jump to move to Los Angeles, but he didn't break in straight away. At first he had to work multiple jobs just to keep pursuing his dream, and at one point working as a garbage man to make ends meet.
"I was shooting videos part time," he said, "but I wasn't making enough money to survive."
After this, he got the chance to work with Kanye West for his music video Famous, then go behind-the-scenes for his Saint Pablo tour. He has also assisted with the filming of season three to five of Yeezy and gone on the road with Travis Scott during his tour with Kendrick Lamar.
Knowing both Scott and West brought him into the Kardashian-Jenner group, as he edited the five-minute montage video Kanye gave to his wife Kim Kardashian for her 36th birthday.
As you can see in the YouTube video, he was there for all the milestones in Kylie's pregnancy, and put a great deal of care into filming and editing them together for the 11-minute video.
While many were focused on the news that Kylie has had her baby, some eagle-eyed fans have noticed a clue in the video that may reveal that she's engaged too.
