Meghan Markle is now top of the cosmetic surgery request list
It seems that everyone wants a piece of Meghan Markle at the moment. The press, social media and our grandparents cannot stop talking about the actress, who is set to marry Prince Harry in spring of next year. Since the couple's engagement was announced on social media earlier in the week, Markle has turned into one of the most talked about personalities on the planet, with people being fixated on her hair, makeup, ring and of course, that jacket.
But while it seems like everyone can't get enough of the bride-to-be, some people have gone a little too far in their admiration for everyone's new favourite royal family member.
According to board-certified plastic surgeon Dr Stephen Greenber, Markle's nose has become one of the most sought after surgeries by patients looking for a bit of facial restructure. Greenberg says that there has been a sharp increase in the number of people asking for surgery to look like the former suits actress since she was thrown into the limelight due to her relationship with the flame-haired prince.
The trend started around six months ago, which is around the time that the relationship between Meghan and Harry began to garner a serious amount of attention.
"Patients started to coming to see me about six months ago requesting Meghan Markle’s nose," Dr Greenberg told E!. "As things between her and Prince Harry started to heat up, attention definitely followed."
Greenberg claims that Meghan's features have become so popular that they have now dethroned the Kardashians as the most desired cosmetic surgery request. The new royal is described as having a "refined" nose structure, with a straight profile and refined tip.
Interestingly, Dr Greenberg remarks that although her nose may be popular, it's not the perfect shape (c'mon, give the girl a break!). According to the surgeon, you can see a slight bump in Meghan's nose, but this simply fits into the rest of her face, which is described by plenty of people as being drop-dead gorgeous.
As Meghan's profile continues to rise, there's no doubt that everything she wears, does or says will be scrutinized heavily by the press and fans alike. While some people may not go all out and get surgery to look like her, expect to see plenty of people turning up to formal parties in wrap-around coats and sporting nude lips.
Also, as the build-up to the royal wedding begins to heat up in the early part of next year, be prepared to see plenty of speculation surrounding what she will be wearing on the big day take over your social media feeds.
While Meghan has what many to perceive to be the "perfect" nose, it doesn't mean that it will suit everyone. What looks good on one person's face, may not necessarily work on someone else's and if you are going to go under the knife in order the restructure your looks, make sure you think deeply about it first.
