Offset just apologized to Cardi B on his new album and it's all sorts of emotional

Cardi B and Offset hopped on the high-speed betrothal train back in September 2017, and apparently inspired several others to do the same.

Since then, Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande have gotten engaged and broken it off; Justin Bieber reportedly married Hailey Baldwin in November, and most recently, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra tied the knot earlier this month.

Cardi and Offset's romance hasn't been without its difficulty, however. There was a cheating scandal, various attempts at reconciliation, and while they're now back together, it looks like Offset isn't done apologising.

Offset released his first solo album earlier this week - titled Father of 4, in reference to his four children - and on it, he offered an emotional apology to Cardi for his indiscretions.

It all begins on the song, Don't Lose Me. He begins for apologising for his mistakes, rapping: "And I apologize, you know what I'm sayin'? Breaking your heart, breaking our promise, breaking God's promise, and being a, a, selfish and messed up husband, you know what I'm sayin'? I'm tryn- I'm tryna be a better person. I wanna get this off..."

And it didn't just end there. He issues yet another heartfelt apology later in the song, pleading with the mother of his child to allow him to return home. "I'm sorry, let me come on home (Come home)/She said "Put down the Styrofoam."

At the close of the track, he asserts that his number one thing is loyalty;

"Number one, it's a loyalty code (Number one)/Temptation, had the devil in my soul (Temptation)/I wanna be with you when we old (When we old)." "I'm a genie and I'm grantin' wishes (Genie)/Only for the Mrs. (Mrs.)."

Commenting on the matter on Twitter, Cardi wrote "There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself. Getting married was one of those moments!"

"Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love we didn't want to lose each other, was one morning in September we woke up and decided to get married."

"I said I do, with no dress no make up and no ring!' the rapper continued. "I appreciate and love my husband so much for still wanting for me [to] have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on his knee and put a ring on my finger and he did that for me!!"

Well, if anyone can work it out, we think these two can.
