Beckinsale has been forced to contend with some less than kind messages about their rumoured courtship, though, with one troll commenting "disappointed in your dating choices". Another commenter wrote on a separate post, "Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson." but thankfully the actress was there swiftly with another put down, writing "No, that's my mother. Easy mistake."

Up until this point, though, the Pete Davidson/Kate Beckinsale rumours were just those: rumours. However, if pictures captured at a hockey game in New York last night are anything to by, it looks as though the couple is very much on.

Davidson and Beckinsale put on a very public display of affection at a New York Rangers game, according to TMZ.

Indeed, some pictures have emerged that appear to show the pair enjoying a rather steamy kiss.

For her own part, when Ariana Grande was asked about the rumours that Kate Beckinsale might be dating her ex, she was all for the budding romance, branding the pair "so cute!".

Unfortunately for the Rangers, Pete and Kate's support didn't bring them home a win; they were beaten by the Capitals 3-2 in overtime.

Recently, Pete Davidson was forced to deal with a regrettable incident of heckling at one of his gigs, when an audience member reportedly yelled "Mac Miller" during one of his jokes. Davidson responded by getting the heckler kicked out of his show, reportedly saying;

"Jesus Christ. Who's that guy? We're getting him out. Point out the guy who's a f*ck face."

"I'll wait. I will wait. I will not continue until that kid's gone.

"Give him his money back and get him the f*ck out. I don't deal with that sh*t at my shows."
