It appears that the Duke of Sussex told his wife, Meghan Markle, to "turn around" during Trooping the Colour at Buckingham Palace last Saturday, according to a lip-reading expert.

A clip shows the erstwhile Suits star turning away from the crowd twice to talk to Prince Harry, before he seems to give her a curt response. The video, which has been making the rounds on social media, inspired people to analyse the body language between the couple.

To speak to her husband, Meghan had to change her position so that the back of her head was facing the camera - something which is believed to be against royal protocol.

Before this exchange, the Duchess of Sussex appeared to ask Harry something, prompting him to respond "yes, that's right", the Daily Mail reports.

Eagle-eyed viewers pointed out that the new mother did not look best pleased after the brief conversation.

"I see Meghan still doesn't follow protocol, Harry had to correct her and tell her to face forward.. TWICE. She eventually turned around and looked like she was going to start crying. The balcony seemed rather chilly if you ask me," wrote one Twitter user.

Others, however, were not convinced that the couple were arguing. One social media user pointed out that the Duchess of Cornwall had also turned around to speak to Prince Charles but nobody had issued comment on that.

Last month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The couple, who wed last May, announced the pregnancy back in October of 2018, on the first day of their royal tour of Australia and New Zealand.

The child will be seventh in line to the throne, behind Prince Charles, Prince William, Will and Kate's three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis - and Harry, the Duke of Sussex.

"We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz," a representative confirmed on the couple's Instagram page, Sussex Royal.

"The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days."

Per the BBC, Prince Harry said he and Meghan were both "absolutely thrilled", and thanked the public for their continuing support.
