We all know John Krasinski as Jim from The Office, but his new movie A Quiet Place couldn't be more different. It's a thriller that takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, where a family must remain silent at all times to avoid being attacked by sightless predators that hunt by sound. The film is remarkable for its usage of silence, leading critics to call it "brilliantly inventive" and "the worst movie to take a baby to."

Krasinski also directed and co-wrote A Quiet Place, which is a huge hit with audiences. It earned over $50 million on opening weekend, and only cost $17 million to make. (So, get ready to see sequels every year for the rest of your life!) Several celebrities have tweeted praise for the horror film, including Jimmy Kimmel, Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks.

Now Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds, has posted his review of the film on social media. Given that Deadpool is the "merc with a mouth," who never, ever shuts the hell up, you might assume he'd dislike a movie featuring so much silence. (If Deadpool were in A Quiet Place, he'd last about ten seconds.) However, Ryan tweeted that he liked it so much he saw it twice, and decided John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are his new parents.

Emily plays John's wife in the movie, and is also his wife in real life. Just a few weeks ago, John spoke to Playboy spoke about falling in love with her, and it was all kinds of adorable. A lot of people look up to the pair for #couplegoals, but nobody has asked to be adopted yet. John and Emily already have two young daughters, and Ryan is older than both of them, at the age of 41. However, John accepted his adoption request on Twitter, replying, "Thank you Son. Your mother and I are so proud."

Maybe John will return to the favor in May, when Deadpool 2 comes out. He could tweet that he saw it twice, and ask to be adopted by Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, another celebrity pair people look up to for #couplegoals. (Although that would make their family trees pretty complicated.)

Anyway, John Krasinski deserves the praise. He didn't just act in A Quiet Place; he also directed it and co-wrote the script. At a time when it seems like every movie coming out is a remake or a sequel, it's great to see an original film become a massive hit. Its success is reminiscent of last year's critically acclaimed original thriller, Get Out. That movie went on to win an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, and also came from a comedic actor - Jordan Peele, from the sketch comedy show Key & Peele.

After A Quiet Place made so much noise at the box office, who doesn't want John and Emily to be their parents right now? (Besides Dwight Schrute.)
