And luckily, I have just the thing - Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, who spent six out of seven days together two weeks ago - are reportedly on a break.

Decades from now, anthropologists will look back at the latter half of 2017 as the time when Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber added yet another chapter to their love story. Back in October, the couple were spotted riding bikes and attending church together. This caused every media outlet to assume that they had re-coupled following Selena's split from The Weeknd, and it certainly seemed to make sense. Months passed without a hint of trouble; Selena cheered Justin on at a hockey scrimmage, they spent New Year's Eve together and even got hot and sweaty at hot yoga - you've got it - together. 

Well... that is until now.

According to E! Entertainment, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are purportedly on a break. However, fans of Jelena needn't worry themselves too much as the outlet has stressed that the split is not permanent. "They were having a lot of little disagreements recently and one fight in particular blew up and caused them to decide to 'break up,' however, they've been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed," a source explained to the news source. "They will absolutely get back together and they are not over, but they both need some time away from each other."

So while they are still technically together, the source clarified that it "doesn't mean things are perfect between them. They have issues just like any other couple".

The paparazzi and never-ending news coverage is reportedly a reason for the break. "They both have expressed that they have been feeling overwhelmed with a lot of pressure that has come with their public relationship, and haven't been seeing eye to eye on things," a second source added.

The media outlet also asserted that Gomez is in the process of "mending" her relationship with her mother, Mandy Teefey, who has been outspoken about her dislike of Bieber. "Things are not amazing between them," the second source elaborated.

The 25-year-old was last seen with Bieber on the 28th February, when they attended church together. She did not attend his go-karting birthday party the following day. However, she did make things "Instagram official" by posting a birthday tribute to him that afternoon, writing " March 1, 1994 someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom."

Well, it appears that all hope is not yet lost. I mean, we're talking about Jelena here, being on-again-off-again is just par for the course.
