Recently a source told the tabloids that Selena Gomez "would be crushed" if Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin got married. Well, if Selena's still pining after her ex-boyfriend, she has a funny way of showing it. The 26-year-old singer recently posted a bunch of stunning photos, hanging out with her friends on a yacht. Clearly, she is living her best life. (Maybe the insider meant to say that she is "crushing it?")
On Instagram, Selena shared a scorching photo of herself rocking cute bangs and a bright green bikini. There is no caption, because a picture is a worth a thousand words. And in this case, all the words are fire emojis. She peers into the camera as if to say, "Oh, hai Justin! I see you and Hailey broke down crying in public. Well, I'm on a boat, mother-effer."
On Instagram Story, Selena shared more sizzling snaps, and why not? It's the middle of August, which means summer is almost over. While our eyes are glued to glowing screens, she's basking in sweet paradise. As she writes in one of the captions, life is just better on a boat. (Except if that boat is the Titanic.)

You can't blame the pop star for taking a break, after a tumultuous 2017. And no, I'm not referring to her rekindled romance with The Biebs. Selena needed a kidney transplant to win her battle with lupus, which at one point was a matter of life or death. Thankfully, her BFF Petra Collins came through, and sacrificed one of her own kidneys to help Selena. After taking some time to recover, Selena made her along-awaited return to performing at the American Music Awards. You'd take some yacht time after that ordeal, too!
But it wasn't all sun-drenched boat photos. Selena made a rare appearance in Instagram Live to connect with her fans. She revealed that she's dropping a new album, the follow-up to 2015's Revival, and it is "sounding really amazing." "It’s very honest, but playful and I felt like creatively it is in a really great direction," said Selena. "I just wanted it to feel like what is going on in my head, which was a lot." She added that her favorite song is called "Rare," although that title might change.
In other Selena news: She wrapped shooting a zombie comedy movie. ("I would love to do more films...I just kind of do what I can.") She just celebrated a birthday. ("I turned 26. Apparently that means I’m an adult now to some people.") And she's been listening to a lot of new hip-hop.

No, the Wolves singer didn't comment on Jailey's engagement, but maybe her new music will give us a clue. "Life Is Better On a Boat" isn't a bad song title.
