Were members of the Friends cast ever more than just Friends? This is the question that has been on everyone's lips for more than two decades now, as well as the question that we never seem to get a straight answer to.

It appears that we'll probably never know the ins and outs of the main cast's relationships with one another - but that doesn't mean that there wasn't some hanky-panky going on between the six main actors and their other co-stars. In fact, if you didn't know already, it's been revealed that Jennifer Aniston dated not one, not two, but three of her Friends co-stars.

First of all, there was Tate Donovan, who dated Jennifer from 1995-1998, before starring as her ultimate Bloomingdales crush and eventual onscreen boyfriend Joshua Burgin. Tate and the We're the Millers actress were actually briefly engaged before breaking up shortly before he appeared on the sitcom. This, of course, made things never awkward for them on set.

"I love those guys. I'd go visit the set when I wasn't working, I'd come and hang out. Those guys were geniuses at their job," Tate told the HuffPost Live. "That show was fantastic to watch. But, unfortunately, Jen and I were breaking up [when I appeared on the show]. We were broken up and the producers were like 'hey would you wanna do six episodes on the show?' And I was like 'maybe it would be good to work through this break-up'."

The O.C. star continued to reveal that he often cried in his dressing room after filming, stating: "It was bad. It around April [when I told her] and she thought it was like an April Fool's Day joke, and I was like 'no, seriously. They want me to come on'. It was horrible. It was so tough, man. I remember just getting back to my dressing room and just weeping."

Luckily for everyone, the pair buried the hatchet and remained civil. In fact, Tate and Jennifer were even spotted at the 2010 Golden Globes greeting each other fondly. "I mean, it's been 150 years, so, if you can't bury hatchet in that amount of time, something's wrong with you," Tate claimed at the time.

So, who else on the set of Friends caught Jennifer's eye? Weirdly enough, it was Phoebe's husband Mike! The actress worked with Paul Rudd on 1998 movie The Object of My Affection and ended up dating him for a brief period of time. There were certainly no hard feelings when they parted ways though, with the Ant-Man star going on to become a Friends regular.

In addition, when the two went on to film Wanderlust, a 2012 American comedy film together, Jennifer revealed that she couldn't wait to work with him again, telling Collider "It was heaven! We were so happy, it felt like no time had passed. We've also seen each other, throughout the years, so it was just that excitement of, 'Oh, this is going to be so fun and comfortable', especially playing a married couple and having that ease and familiarity. It was just fun."

As for the third Friend co-star the actress dated, I think you probably know this one. In fact, Jennifer did more than date Brad Pitt, who she was married to 2000-2005.

And so, this concludes our extensive lesson in Jennifer Aniston's Friends love life. The more you know, eh?
