No matter what you think about the British royal family, you sort of have to admit that Meghan and Harry are a totally adorable couple. In every picture of the Duke and Duchess, they're always smiling and looking at one another with the sort of gross lovey-doveyness that you rarely get to see between husbands and wives - and that cuteness has increased by approximately a bajillion per cent since it was announced that they're expecting a baby in the spring.
But as well as being super sweet to one another, the pair are always warm and kind with their fans and admirers.
So, while on their tour through Oceania, which is still underway, Meghan and Harry have had plenty of opportunities to meet and speak to people who had gathered to see them - and some of their interactions were simply precious.
For the second day of their tour, the royal couple flew to the Australian town of Dubbo in order to visit the aeromedical association Royal Flying Doctor Service and speak to local farmers about how they had been coping with a recent drought.
As they got off the plane, they were greeted by a group of schoolchildren - one of whom was especially excited to meet the duke and duchess.
Pictures from the event show how the husband and wife made their way down a line of awaiting children, waving and smiling to each one, before approaching one cheeky little five-year-old who was just desperate for a hug. So, of course, Meghan and Harry obliged.
But the little boy didn't stop there. After embracing the Duke of Sussex, he reached out and began stroking Harry's beard - much to everyone's amusement.
The adorable moment was caught on video, which you can see here:

It's already clear from their interactions with the little ones that Meghan and Harry are going to make excellent parents, and they're obviously really excited to welcome their first child next year.
The official announcement that a new royal baby was on the way came about on Monday after Kensington Palace updated their social media with the following message:
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.
"Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."
Since then, Meghan and Harry have been inundated with gifts and congratulations from the well-wishers that they have met while on their royal tour. And, though we can't say for sure, it seems as if their interaction with the five-year-old beard-admirer may have been their favourite meet-and-greet so far.
Meanwhile, he's probably just happy that he got to pet a guy's beard. Overall, then, a good experience all round!

Ever since their wedding back in May of this year, Meghan and Harry seem to have dominated the news in every which way possible. First, there was the whole drama involving Meghan Markle's sister, Samantha; then, the couple went ahead and broke the internet by getting an adorable dog; and, just yesterday, they announced that they were expecting a baby.
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019," Kensington Palace posted on Instagram.
"Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."
The news came as the royal couple embarked on their trip to Oceania, with the first stop on their visit being Australia. So, of course, when Harry and Meghan took a trip to Taronga Zoo yesterday, there were hundreds of people waiting to share their congratulations - many of them bringing gifts for the mother-to-be.
And, when Harry spotted one group of admirers with a particularly large bunch of flowers, he just had to say something.
In a video posted to Instagram, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can be seen entering the wildlife park as dozens of fans flock to greet them. Meghan, very graciously, stops to accept some gifts from well-wishers; meanwhile, Harry watches in astonishment as one woman hands over a huge bouquet of flowers.
Clearly a little threatened by the present, the ever-playful prince joked to the crowd, "You can't give flowers that big to my wife, what is that all about?"
The former Suits star then came up behind her husband, expressing her gratitude for the gift. "Thank you for the flowers, whoever got those for me," she can be heard saying.
It turns out that the bouquet was from Matt De Groot, a newsreader for Fitzy & Wippa.

Of course, Harry's comments were all in jest, and the royal couple were obviously beaming from all the support they've received since the announcement that they are expecting their first child together.
While they've been travelling to the other side of the globe to meet and greet Australian fans, however, Brits back home have been speculating over the details of the soon-to-be royal heir. Will it be a boy or a girl? What will Meghan and Harry name the little one? Will they become a prince or a princess?
Well, with regards to that final point, we do have some answers.
It's already been established that the new arrival will be too far away in line to the throne (seventh, to be precise) to be named prince or princess - though that could change if the Queen decides to make an exception. If she doesn't, however, then the new baby might not inherit a title by default.
As royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams explained earlier this year: "Under the current system, any child of the Duke and Duchess won’t automatically have a royal title. The peerage, unlike the succession to the crown, favours males and if they have only daughters, the title of Sussex could die out as it did before."
We've still a long while to go until the new baby actually arrives, however, and so Meghan and Harry have plenty of time to enjoy their trip - and all the lavish gifts that will come with it!

Earlier this week, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared the news that they were expecting their first child, with fans of the royals all over the world rejoicing over the news.
But only hours after they made the big announcement, the famed couple made public appearances on the first day of their royal tour of Australia.

Their sightseeing included a visit to Taronga Zoo, where they opened the new Taronga Institute of Science and Learning, as well as posing for a few photos with some cute koalas.

After that, they were treated to a private viewing of 'Spirit 2018' by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander modern dance company the BangarraDance Theatre, at the Sydney Opera House.

Soon after, Harry bumped into an old friend who he has referred to as his "favourite Aussie". He had met Daphne Dunne during his trips to the country before, befriending her in 2015. After spotting her in the crowd, Harry knelt down to her level as she sat in her wheelchair, hugging her and reportedly saying: "I was looking for you earlier and hoped you’d be here, it’s so good to see you again."
"I’m so glad I got to meet you, Harry has told me all about you and your special bond, it’s so lovely you came to see us, thank you," she told Daphne. "Hopefully the next time we see you we'll have our little one with us."
Daphne later commented: "It was lovely to meet the Duchess Meghan. Harry is a wonderful man and I’m so happy he had found happiness, they both deserved the absolute world together."

It was in the presence of Sir Peter Cosgrove, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Her Excellency Lady Cosgrove, that the couple received their first baby gift during their royal tour. Before they met with representatives from all of the 18 Invictus Games countries, they were presented with a fluffy kangaroo toy, and a tiny pair of Ugg boots.
"Our first baby gifts!" Meghan said as she was given the items. "These are awesome," Harry said of the boots. Just look at his face:
Dignitaries also gave the newlyweds with Akubras (traditional wide-brimmed Australian hats), and several congratulated them on the news of their baby. "Thank you so much," said Meghan. "We are very excited."

Speaking at the Governor's reception, Harry reportedly said:
"It is great to be back in Australia. And especially even more so this is my wife's first visit here, so I'm very excited to show her this incredible country of yours.
"We're both delighted to be here and really impressed to see you serving beer and tea at an afternoon reception, in true Aussie style! Thank you for the incredibly warm welcome and the chance to meet so many Aussies from all walks of life. And we also genuinely couldn’t think of a better place to announce the upcoming baby, whether it’s a boy or a girl, so thank you very very much."
On the rest of their royal tour, Harry and Meghan are set to visit Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand in the coming weeks.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are the couple of 2018. The pair married in a ceremony held at St. George's Chapel in Windsor, and every detail - from Meghan's gown, Givenchy by way of Clare Waight Keller, to her meaningful accoutrements - the late Princess Diana's aquamarine ring being her "something blue" - was beautiful.
Since then, the newly appointed Duchess of Sussex has been occupied with "Duchess training" (yes, really), and accompanying her new BFF, the Queen, to official royal engagements. Just this week, Meghan and Prince Harry travelled to Northern Ireland to meet some of the country's highest-ranking politicians, however, the most important interaction they had during their visit was with Walter Cullen - an adorable three-year-old, who was just smitten with Meghan Markle.
A toddler, who was obviously rather fond of the newest royal couple, just had the best interaction with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. In the photos from their visit to Croke Park, Dublin, the boy was seen fiddling with Meghan's hair and attempting to tap her shoulder to get her attention. Prince Harry immediately caught Walter in the act, and his reaction was everything.
Judging by Walter's facial expression, it would seem that the Duke of Sussex gave him a little telling off for messing with his wife's hair. I mean, you can't just touch the Duchess's hair whenever you please - even if you are the cutest 3-year-old.
Meghan has just been on a spree of royal engagements, and she's doing so well at them that she's even adopted what seems like a British accent. Talk about doing your homework, eh?
In a video taken of Meghan meeting members of the public ahead of an engagement with the Queen on the 14th of June, the 36-year-old can be heard graciously greeting fans - but viewers quickly noticed that something was, er, a little off...
[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/elzeiny99/status/1007242986248396801]]
Sure, she's still got a Californian twang about her, but certain words do appear to be spoken in the Queen's English. This is an entirely common phenomenon, however: it's easy for accents to rub off when you're surrounded by people who all speak a particular way.
Either way, Meghan's been nailing her royal duties. She's already accompanied the Queen on a solo outing back in June, and she even travelled on the royal train - something that is unprecedented for such a new member of Kensington Palace.
Well, it certainly seems as if Meghan Markle is settling into royal life just fine, and we can't wait to see what she does next. While she won't be starring in the eighth season of Suits, we're sure that her next move will wholly make up for the absence of Rachel Zane in the legal drama.
It's finally happened! Ever since we saw Meghan and Harry's adorable engagement announcement interview back in November 2017, we've been dying to see these two lovebirds with a baby in their arms. And, today, we've finally gotten a glimpse at Baby Sussex, and he's adorable!
Speaking during an official press event from inside the St George's Hall at Windsor Castle, a radiant Meghan gushed: "It's magic, it's pretty amazing. He's just been the dream so it's been a special couple of days.
"I have the two best guys in the world so I'm really happy. He has the sweetest temperament, he's really calm."
Prince Harry confirmed the news that his wife had given birth on the 6th May, assuring us all that both mother and baby were doing well. The American-actress-turned-Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, gave birth to a beautiful baby boy weighing 7lbs 3oz and Harry looked delighted while giving the world the good news. Harry was present at the birth and many believe that the baby boy was delivered at the couple's home, Frogmore Cottage.
When asked who the baby takes after, Meghan said: "We're still trying to figure that out."
As Harry replied: "Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks we're basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really. But his looks are changing every single day, so who knows."
Will and Kate sent their new nephew's parents some great advice:

Harry added that he is loving being a parent: "It's great. Parenting is amazing. It's only been two and a half days, three days, but we're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy."
In early April, it was revealed that Meghan and Harry would be breaking a forty-year tradition following the birth of their baby; they would not show their child to the world by means of a photocall immediately after his birth.
Last month, Buckingham Palace released this statement:
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby. Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.”
The New York Times noted that someone at the tabloid newspaper, The Sun, had criticised the royal couple's move to initially keep their new-born child away from the media, announcing that “the public has a right to know about the lives of those largely funded by their taxes. You can accept that, or be private citizens. Not both".
This opinion has likely arisen as a consequence of the tradition that lies behind the post-birth photocalls. Dickie Arbiter, Princess Diana's spokesperson at the time of William and Harry's birth, told CNN that Diana had no doubts as to whether to present her newborn babies to the media. "She was aware of what the royal family is all about and what the certain traditions are attached to it and what is expected," Arbiter said. "What is expected at the end of the day is all about duty".
But Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, was heavily criticised for sticking to tradition when she had her photos taken after the births of each of her children. Actress, Kiera Knightly, was among the voices to speak out. In an article named ‘The Weaker Sex’, published in Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (and other lies), Knightly wrote that Kate put on “the face the world wants to see” in the post-birth photographs. “Hide,” she continued, “Hide our pain, our bodies splitting, our breasts leaking, our hormones raging. Look beautiful. Look stylish, don’t show your battleground, Kate…. Don’t show. Don’t tell. Stand there with your girl and be shot by a pack of male photographers.”
Bonnie Greer, an American playwright and commentator, told CNN that because Meghan and Harry decided not to partake in the decades-old tradition, "hopefully women won't feel the pressure to look like they're ready for the cover of Vogue after they've given birth". Greer believes that Meghan is "leading the way with that" and we can't help but respect her decision.
Today, we finally got to see Baby Sussex, and he's just as lovely as we imagined he would be! The couple look to be over the moon and all that's left to say is a huge congratulations (and when will we find out the baby's name?)!

If you've been paying attention to the news at all this week, you may have heard that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently embarking on their royal tour around Oceania. They've already spent a few days in Australia, and will later be heading to Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand.
While in the land down under, they've already been treated to a visit to Taronga Zoo, met with a group of adorable schoolchildren in the town of Dubbo, and, just yesterday, the royal couple took a trip to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Melbourne.
As usual, they arrived to crowds of thousands of supporters - many of whom were excited for the chance to congratulate the duke and duchess on their pregnancy news.
One awaiting fan stood out to Prince Harry more than any other, however, and so he decided to break royal protocol in order to give her a hug.
India Brown, a 19-year-old university student, had shown up to see the prince with a sign that read, "Been here since 4am. Loved you since I was eight y/o". And Harry, not being one to disappoint a super fan, obligingly gave the young woman a quick hug as he walked past.
Perhaps understandably, Brown burst into tears of happiness immediately.
"He is someone I have looked up to for many many years," Brown told reporters when they asked her about the experience. "Everything he stands for is amazing. I've loved that family since I was eight and I've followed them around the world."
And the teenager got a little more than she bargained for when the Prince stopped to interact with her. As well as giving her a big hug, the Duke of Sussex also shared a cheeky comment with her.
Brown apparently told the prince that she knew he wasn't supposed to hug her, to which he responded: "You are going to get me into trouble."
But this wasn't the only adorable moment Harry has shared with a fan during his trip.
Two days ago, while greeting another crowd, the prince was approached by a five-year-old boy who was absolutely fascinated by his fiery red beard.
You can see a clip of the adorable moment here:

Meghan has also had her fair share of special moments with admirers, too.
While greeting the crowd outside the Sydney Opera House earlier this week, one fan stood out. The young girl, who was wearing a T-shirt that read "Girls Can Do Anything", bore a striking resemblance to the duchess.
According to People, Prince Harry spoke with the girl first before calling his wife over to join in the conversation. After Meghan greeted the child, another fan can be heard shouting, "We feel she looks a bit like you".
The Duchess replied, "I was literally about to say the same thing! And I love your shirt."
The group then took an adorable photo together.

Even though they're not supposed to, then, it's clear that Meghan and Harry are willing to go above and beyond for their fans - and it clearly means the world to them!
