Actress Jessica Chastain has been vocal in the past about her views on women's rights and feminism, so it wasn't a surprise to see her make a post for International Women's Day on Friday. In the Instagram photo, she wore a t-shirt that read "We should all be feminists", along with the caption: "FEMINISM: the theory of the political, economic and social equality of the sexes".

The post received over 150,000 likes and thousands more comments from fans, but not all of the response was positive. With any celebrity social media post, there tends to be some backlash from trolls. When you add in the fact she was talking about feminism, and you can bet that there will be some angry people throwing their views around.

However, there was one comment that was a little different. While it was pro-feminist comment, Karin Schulz took issue with other beliefs that Chastain may have. "Yes, feminist that believe in God and stand up for The Unborn," she wrote. "I would be for that kind of feminist".

Now, regardless of what side of that particular thorny debate you come down on, it was kind of out of nowhere. No one expected Chastain to respond to a comment like that, which seemed more like a challenge than anything else, but she actually did.

"Yes, you can decide what is right for you. I am pro-choice and I believe that everyone has the right to make their own decision," Chastain said, keeping her cool. Then, in the next part of her comment, she revealed that she knew a little about Karin's life too.

Chastain had seen that, through her social media, Karin had detailed some problems she had been going through lately. She and her husband's attempts to have a baby hit various obstacles as they both realised certain biological problems prevented them from conceiving, which has been a huge burden for Karin.

After extensive tests they realised they would need expensive medical help in order to conceive, but it would have put them into serious debt. So, Karin set up a GoFundMe account to help them achieve their dream, with a link to the page in her Instagram bio.

Seeing this, Chastain finished off her comment saying:

"I read about your journey to become a mother and it broke my heart. I hope that your dream will come true in 2018! Much love to you."

It wasn't just a heartfelt reply, as users discovered that Chastain had chosen to donate $2,000 to the couple's GoFundMe campaign. Found by Twitter user Sam Montgomery, the images detailing these events went viral.

With the caption "We don't deserve Jessica Chastain", the tweet amassed over 10,000 retweets and 50,000 likes. In addition, another user discovered that Chastain had left a message for Karin:

On top of this, the viral tweet has led to others donating to the cause. As of writing, they have raised $3935 of their $5,000 goal already, putting them that much closer to achieving their dream.
