Yesterday it was revealed that YouTube star James Charles had lost two million subscribers from the streaming platform after becoming embroiled in an online feud with fellow YouTube star Tati Westbrook.

The substantial loss of followers came after Westbrook uploaded a scathing 43-minute video accusing the fashion star of using his "fame, power, and money" to emotionally blackmail people.

Westbrook's video, titled 'Bye Sister', details how Charles allegedly tried to "[turn] straight men gay", and bashed him for promoting a brand that directly competes with her vitamin business, ruining her birthday dinner, and harassing straight men. Because #BFFs.

And it's not just the fact that Charles' followers were leaving his channel, as in the same three-day period, Westbrook gained an additional two million subscribers - so it's clear to see whose side people are on.

Realising that he had to respond to the backlash, Charles issues the following apology:

However, despite Charles' emotional apology, the damage seems to have been done.

According to statistics site Social Blade, in the three days following Westbrook's video, James' follower count dropped from 16,553,579 to 14,608,796. Yeeesh.

But now, Charles has another enemy in the form of former friend and singer Zara Larsson. In yet more fierce claims, the 'Don’t Worry About Me' singer took to Twitter to quote-tweet a post praising Tati’s clip, telling her 1.39 million followers: "I’m cackling cause he hit up my boyfriend in the DMs several times knowing damn well he’s straight."

Larsson would later clarify her message, stating that Charles allegedly only sent one DM, and commented under boyfriend Brian Whittaker’s pictures: "I feel like deleting this cause I checked and it wasn’t several times, only one dm and some comments under pictures."

A rather devastating blow for a person whose reputation is already flailing in stormy winds.

Both Brian and James have yet to comment publicly over Larsson's posts.

"What sucks the most is that I know there’s nothing I can say or do to ever earn that friendship or trust back but I don’t blame them for it.

"A lot of the time when I’ve had to address things in the past, I’ve acted out of impulse and I’ve gone off and tried to pull receipts or facts or screenshots and play the victim and I’m not doing that today, I’m not.

"That is all I have to say, I’m sorry."
