15 years ago, one of the defining sitcoms of the past 30 years reached its emotional, dramatic conclusion. Come on, I don't need to tell you what happens at the end of Friends, do I; Rachel gets off the plane, she decides to get together with Ross (and stay together this time), and everything ends happily ever after.

Since then, the likes of Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow have all moved on to new projects. We've been clamouring for a revival ever since in the vein of Fuller House or Twin Peaks, but as the 25th anniversary of the show's first episode draws closer, it's not looking likely, folks.

To be fair, Courteney Cox has been doing her best to keep the spirit of the show going with some amazing reprisals of iconic moments, like this one:

It seems, folks, that we're going to have to rely on Netflix, reruns and nostalgia to give us our Friends fix. Or are we? Well, if you live in the United Kingdom, then do I have a great reason for you to check out the theatre some time.

That's right - Friends will be returning, but rather than to a screen big or small, you'll be seeing Monica, Rachel, Chandler, Joey, Ross and Phoebe on stage instead. Check it, Friends fans: there'll be a musical version of everybody's favourite 90s sitcom, and could I be any more excited?

Created just for the occasion of the show's quarter century and written by Miranda Larson, 'Friendsical' aims to take some of the greatest moments from the sitcom, and recreate them in musical form.

According to the show's official website, this show "plucks the best moments from the show’s ten years and recreates the moments through an uncensored, fast-paced, music filled romp". Doesn't that sound exciting?

"FRIENDS! The Musical Parody is the hilarious new musical that lovingly lampoons TV’s Friends, celebrating the wacky misadventures of your favorite group of 20-something pals as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life, and love in 1990s Manhattan."

Even better, here's a trailer where you can see just how Friends will look in musical form:

So, where and when can you catch Friendsical? Well, the show will officially raise its curtain at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham in July, but it's taking a tour throughout the rest of the country. The show will also make an appearance in cities like Newcastle, Blackpool, Southampton and Croydon, and if you miss it there, it'll also be at the Edinburgh Fringe from August 1 to August 25.

So, what are you waiting for folks? Get yourself a ticket to the Friendsical! If you miss out on a ticket, then I have to be honest: I won't be there for you.
