Disney drop first teaser trailer for 'Toy Story 4' and it's literally everything we need on a Monday

It's getting close to Christmas, the days are getting shorter and inevitably it's getting colder. In short, I feel like we are all in need of a bit of cheering up.

So what better way to boost yourself on a miserable Monday than by grabbing a sneak peak at one of Pixar's hottest creations for 2019?

Yes folks, it's Toy Story time. Woody, Buzz, Hamm, Rex, Slinky and co are coming back to our big screens - as I'm sure all you real fans are probably aware. Last time we saw the toys they were given a heartfelt goodbye by Andy as he jetted off to college, left in the capable hands of the adorable Bonnie. A recipe for success? Well I guess we'll have to wait to find out.

The highly-anticipated teaser trailer is below, and I have to admit, it has got me super excited for Woody and Buzz's latest adventure:

The official film synopsis from Disney gives us a much better idea of what to expect in the next installment of the 'Toy Story'... story - and sheds a bit of light on what we see in the brief trailer.

"Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy. Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”) and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”) and Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”), Disney·Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to UK cinemas on the 21st June 2019."

NEW TOY? – Everyone’s favourite pull-string cowboy sheriff Woody, along with his best friends Buzz Lightyear and Jessie, are happy taking care of their kid, Bonnie, until a new toy called “Forky” arrives in her room. According to Forky, a spork-turned-craft-project, he’s not a toy at all—and he’d rather skip this big adventure completely, if only they’d let him. Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack return as the voices of Woody, Buzz and Jessie, and comedian Tony Hale lends his voice to Forky. Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”) and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”) and Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”), “Toy Story 4” ventures to UK cinemas on the 21st June 2019. Interesting new characters, a brand spanking new adventure, all our favourite toys (and voices) - what more could you possibly want as a Toy Story fan? Personally, as long as my favourite aliens make an appearance I'll be running to the cinema the moment it comes out. Never stop making movies Pixar.
