Last week's episode of Game of Thrones was one of the most bloody yet. Between the long-awaited Cleganebowl (that eye squeezing had me retching) and Daenerys' firey assault on King's Landing, we saw some of the most gruesome scenes in the show's history - and that really is saying something.

One scene, however, which got fans talking for all the wrong reasons was the fight between Euron and Jaime.

Considering that at this point in the episode, King's Landing is on the road to being reduced to rubble, you'd think they'd have better things to do than to fight over Cercei - like, y'know, save her. But when Euron proudly declares that "he f**ked the queen", he effectively puts a red rag to Jaime and a fight ensues.

In case your memory needs refreshing, this is the scene no GoT fans were here for:

These are some of the most relatable Twitter reactions to the scene which left Euron dead and Jamie seriously injured:

So sure, it wasn't the most necessary of scenes in what was a pretty jam-packed episode, and if we're honest, we'd have rather seen that part of the budget spent on Jon giving ghost the goodbye pet he deserved, but on the plus side, Euron is dead. Yay!
