Last night, the final season of Game of Thrones well and truly arrived. Yeah, I'm all for grudges and old beef getting brought up, but at this point, the threat is out there from the Army of the Undead, and last night, we got to see them finally take on our heroes.

The result: one of the best battles in history, full of drama and death and intrigue, and everybody online was super excited. Well, apart from one teeny, tiny complaint.

There were some striking images of flames tearing through the night, as the White Walkers did their thing, but that kind of hinted at the problem: When there was no fire, which was pretty often during the first parts of the episode... you couldn't really see anything.

Think I'm nitpicking? Take a look for yourself:

Let's take to Twitter, and see what the rest of the internet had to say.

Getting the picture, yet? These guys, and many, many others watching Game of Thrones last night didn't. I'm sure HBO did it for a reason, but it just made things really difficult to make out the epic happenings on the show. Let's hope we can actually see what's going on in the next episode.
