Game of Thrones' Tormund, The Hound, Jorah and Beric formed a band

When Tormund Giantsbane was first introduced on Game of Thrones, he was an instant fan favourite. His peculiar and dark sense of humour, bolstered by a memorable performance from actor Kristofer Hivju, elevated the character to being the best of the free folk by a country mile. Then came the way he completely fell for Brienne of Tarth, claiming he wanting to have babies with her that would "conquer the world", and we he might have become the best character on the entire show.

Seeing as he is a minor character, I always thought he would be bumped off any minute, as the show has shown a penchant for killing off beloved characters. Yet instead Tormund made it all the way to the end of season seven, though we don't know for sure who survived the destruction of the wall.

This current season saw Tormund with the most unlikely of companions, heading north of the wall. On his and Jon Snow's suicide mission to bring back a white walker to prove to the kingdom they do exist, he was joined by the likes of Jorah, Beric, and The Hound.

All these characters were lost souls of sorts, with their own reasons for being so far north, hoping to save the day by any means possible. They were a fantasy version of the magnificent seven, risking their lives to keep the kingdom safe. But it looks like these men didn't just bond in the dreaded tundra of the show, but also behind the scenes.

Hivju's Instagram has given some behind the scenes looks in the past, including the cast-members he's been filming with in Iceland. You can see him goofing around on set with Rory McCann (Sandor 'The Hound' Clegane), playing guitar and singing Yellow Bird together.

But recently the whole gang has got together to play a song. With Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) on the guitar, Richard Dormer (Beric Dondarrion) on the ukulele, and McCann and Hivju on vocals, they got together under the name 'Brotherhood Without Banjos', a play on Beric's Brotherhood Without Banners.

Playing Tom Waits' ballad 'I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You', the quartet make for a surprisingly great band, though you can tell none of them are taking it too seriously.

Hivju posted the video on his Instagram, along with the caption "This is our latest hit 'Anthem over season seven end'. On Guitar #iainglen ! On the ukulele #richarddormer, and choir Mr. #rorymccann and myself! Our new album is called: 'What will fate bring us???'"

The post set the internet on fire, and the video has had over 500,000 views already. But this isn't the first time that Kristofer Hivju's Instagram has gone viral. Just recently, he revealed to the world what he used to look like without that gigantic beard, and he looked more handsome than you could have imagined.
