For a while there, we had some serious questions about the location of Westeros on the universal timeline, as our world and the world of Game of Thrones collided in the weirdest possible way.

As Daenerys Targaryen attempted to curry favour with Gendry Baratheon but watched Jon Snow show just how popular he is in the North, fans might have noticed something rather interesting in the foreground of one of the shots: a Starbucks coffee cup.

Here's footage of the latte in question:

Twitter had its questions, Twitter had its memes:

It's a thing that can happen on set, unfortunately, and HBO took it on the chin, showing a sense of humour about the whole thing. "News from Winterfell. The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. #Daenerys had ordered an herbal tea," they tweeted, but now, HBO seem to have rectified the issue with their set in an attempt to save face after episode four of Game of Thrones.

Here's the new footage of the shot, without the Starbucks cup this time:

There we go, all better. Now we can have way fewer existential crises over the place of product placement in something like Game of Thrones, or wonder if Cersei would be a much more level-headed person if she just had a Snickers or something like that. Ah well. Onto the next episode of Game of Thrones...
