HBO has just dropped the trailer for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones.

The hit medieval fantasy show has captivated millions since its release in 2011. Now, viewers are about to see the culmination of seven seasons of beloved character deaths, twists and turns in the battle to trump them all: the Battle of Winterfell.

This is not the biggest battle that the show has ever seen (not to mention the fact that it's between the living and the dead), but it's the biggest battle scene ever filmed and lasts for an entire episode - that's a full 90 minutes.

This is the trailer which has sent Game of Thrones fans into a frenzy:

Understandably, fans have been quick to attempt to analyze the trailer for potential clues about what's about to go down when the Seven Kingdoms finally war against the Night King instead of each other, and, of course, lament that fact that the show is finally drawing to a close.
