Jeremiah from 'The Princess Diaries' is ridiculously hot now and fans are shook

If you were a fan of The Princess Diaries films when you were younger, there are a few key moments that are likely to stick in your memory. Mia's transformation from frizzy-haired geek to smooth-haired hottie, Julie Andrew's all-round insane grace and dignity and the phrase "Lana got coned" all certainly come to mind.

However, one young man you may not remember is Jeremiah Hart, the red-haired misfit who was mercilessly bullied by Lana and her cheerleader henchwomen ("The sweater you're wearing, was it designed for you or did the knitting machine just bIow up?"). Jeremiah, of course, is the dorky kid who infamously spurred teen princess Mia Thermopolis to cone Lana, played by Mandy Moore, in a rather spectacular onscreen moment.

But, what you probably don't know about the talented American actor who played Jeremiah, Patrick John Flueger, is that he grew up to be quite the hottie, with fans going crazy when they recently discovered new pictures of him.

As you can see, Patrick grew up good and is looking pretty fine 17 years after The Princess Diaries was released in cinemas (not that we didn't adore him back then).

Since his time as Lily Moscovitz's love interest, the star has been kept busy, appearing on shows like CSI: Miami, Law & Order, The 4400 and Criminal Minds. In February 2010, he was allegedly among those screen tested for the role of Captain America in the 2011 feature film.

But wait a minute, don't we know Patrick from somewhere else? That's right, fans of NBC's Chicago P.D. will recognise the now-34-year-old as Adam Ruzeck, one of the main detectives on Chicago PD and the Intelligence unit.

If you're not a viewer of the police drama, get watching, as you get to watch the grown-up Jeremiah pursue the perpetrators of the city's major street offences, starring as a younger police officer recruited straight out of the academy to do undercover work. We’re certainly not in Genovia anymore, huh?

Patrick is far from the only member of The Princess Diaries cast to make a great success out of their career after finishing the movie. Perhaps the most obvious is main star Anne Hathaway, who went on to take on roles in famous films like Brokeback Mountain (2005), The Devil Wears Prada (2006), and musical romantic drama Les Misérables, for which she earned multiple accolades, including an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Then there is Mandy Moore, who played Lana Thomas in the film, who had already established herself as a famous singer in 2001 when she joined the cast. Moore went onto star in movies including A Walk to Remember (2002), License to Wed (2007) and Tangled (2010). The actress has been starring as Rebecca Pearson in the NBC family drama This Is Us since 2016, and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role.
