Over the last couple of months, we've been talking a lot about endings - especially in the world of pop culture. Two of the biggest franchises over the past decade in Game of Thrones and the Marvel Cinematic Universe have recently come to a halt.

We've had about a month to emotionally recover from Endgame while the emotions are just starting with Game of Thrones' much-discussed finale, but amidst all of that, we managed to forget about another pop culture behemoth, now sneaking up on the horizon.

Stranger Things is one of the best shows on Netflix, hands down, and although 80s-inspired television is not exactly a novel concept, the adventures of Will, Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Eleven are enough to keep us coming back, and Stranger Things 3 is just around the corner, and it's going to be a hot summer in Hawkins, Indiana.

It's not as dark as the trailer we had back in March - either in tone or simple colour composition, and for those of you who're fans of Billy Hargrove (I'd imagine there are a few), there's a little something something for you too. But crucially - this being the internet - there's absolutely nothing we can glean about the new season from this hot, steamy trailer, and that's just the way I like it.

Interested in seeing where this goes? Then check out Stranger Things 3, which comes out on July 4 - where we can see what horrible misfortune will befall Will Byers next.
