Four years ago, the hit TV show Glee aired its final episode, and I don't know about you, but life was never the same again. All good things must come to an end, sadly, but I don't know, you guys... I still miss it.

On the surface, Glee was just a musical TV show which gave us the gift of Lea Michele, but it was also responsible for many forms of representation, greatly needed (if not greatly heeded) at the time. It was a cultural phenomenon too.

Now, unfortunately, this isn't an article to say that we're getting a Glee revival, but we did briefly get a Glee reprisal, and although it's not everything we wanted, I think it's a more than welcome return.

This comes from Entertainment Weekly, who reported that the likes of Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet, Diana Agron, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Harry Shum Jr., and Kevin McHale got the old gang back together last week, and you better believe there was some impromptu singing to look forward to.

Darren (of course) took to the piano, and we were treated to a rendition of Shallow, the Oscar-winning Lady Gaga song made popular by A Star Is Born. It was... pretty great.

This isn't the first time the Glee cast have gotten together once the show wrapped, with Riley, Shum Jr., and Becca Tobin getting into a rap battle with McHale, Ushkowitz and Heather Morris during an episode of Drop the Mic back in March.

Plus, Matthew Morrison (who was Mr Schue on the show) shared a photo with some of the cast and crew back in 2018.

"It's a GLEE-Union!" he said on Instagram, and it was pretty great. Well, folks, I don't know when the next reunion of Glee alums will be, but what I do know is that I cannot wait for it.
